Rich Katsuki Bakugou x GN Reader - Rose Colored
No Quirk AU
Word Count: 4,391

(A/N: Just in case there's any confusion, all the characters are aged up to their mid to late 20s. Also, my favorite brand of No Quirk AUs is where they're all just rich kids instead. Disclaimer: Eat the rich :))

Small CW: Ship warning, in case you really don't like certain ships. Shinkami (Shinsou x Kaminari) is in this, but it's really only brought up two times.

Your fingers shook against each other despite being balled into closely held fists. The consistent anxiety bubbling in your stomach only furthered the motion.

The city streets of Japan pass fast around you in Bakugou Katsuki's car. The Bakugous were a well known lineage of fashion designers with high profits and an even higher net worth. The only son of the former owners, Bakugou Masaru and Mitsuki, had inherited the company just a few years ago. And, just a few months before then, you began dating the blonde. It was odd at first. You were nowhere in his realm of being either rich, a wealthy CEO, or the child of one. Yet, you'd managed to make an unlikely, perfect pair.

Now, you were seated in one of his various expensive cars. Katsuki didn't appear to care much about cars, but he still owned four of them. For this event, he even switched from driving his usual, unsuspecting black car to the shiny red one that almost never left the garage. Not to mention, he'd gifted you the fancy outfit you were dressed in. The thought only furthered your anxiety. He said you were going to some sort of "reunion dinner" with a handful of college friends, but how were you meant to eat when you knew the price tag on this outfit!

"Hey," the blonde spoke from beside you, "it's going to be fine."

A hand went to rest on your thigh for a moment as reassurance before he returned it to the wheel, "We're almost there."

"You said I'd know some people there, right?" You asked.

He nodded, "Kiri's gonna' be there and those other dumbasses."

"Also Deku, he organized this shit." He mentioned the childhood friend almost as an afterthought.

"That'll be nice, I haven't seen Midoriya in awhile." You commented.

"Get used to it." Bakugou grumbled.

"Hey, I thought you were trying to have a better relationship with him!" You lightly scolded him.

"That doesn't mean I have to see his stupid face." He replied, "We're here."

You'd been too focused on Bakugou's odd hatred towards his longtime childhood friend, who was admittedly one of the richest men in Japan right now, to notice that the car was rolling to a stop at a restaurant parking lot. It was clearly an expensive place just by the modern style of the building and it's dim lighting. The handful of similarly flashy and expensive cars parked around you two only enhanced it's luxury.

You took a deep breath before unbuckling your seatbelt, "It'll be fine. You know most of these people, and you don't even have to worry about the others."

As you were mentally reassuring yourself, the door beside you opened. Bakugou was standing there –already having left his side of the car and come to help you out. "C'mon, we can't stay here forever."

"Right, sorry." You took the hand he offered and carefully exited the car. He shut the door behind you and the door locked with a click of a button.
