This was it. Today was the day. The one that I had spent thinking about my whole life. But it wasn't even close to what I had dreamed about. It was better. I sat at my vanity and brushed my hair aimlessly, thinking of how today was going to go. I decided that I wouldn't be mad at Greyson today, not on our wedding day. I'd just have to get over it because I didn't want anything to ruin my day. I had plenty of time to be mad at him after the wedding. I slept until late afternoon because the ceremony wasn't going to begin until nightfall. Plus who knows how late I would be up after it was over. My stomach clenched, from nerves and hunger. Its not like I was marrying a stranger. That was always my biggest fear, an arranged marriage. I still felt a bit strange being in a completely unfamiliar place with new people but I already had a few friends. Plus Keya was staying, who knew how long. She was a free spirit, wandering wherever life took her. I envied her a bit as I would now be stuck here, as Luna.

I jumped as a knock sounded from my door.

"Who is it?" I cautiously asked.

"Your one and only mother, of course!"

I sighed and went to let her in. As I opened the door she gleefully sprung in and hugged me.

"How are you feeling my dear?"

I shrugged. "Nervous. I don't know why though its not as if he's a stranger." She guided me towards the couch where we sat.

"I felt the same way on my wedding day. I barely knew your father but your grandparents insisted that we get married. I almost ran away but your father caught me and convinced me to stay."

"You almost ran away?! Who are you and what have you done with my mother??"

She laughed. "Yes its hard to believe. But I am so glad I stayed. We were not together that..long but Ill never love another man as much as him." A tear slipped down her cheek. "I want you to be happy with Greyson. And if it doesn't work out you are always welcome back home."

I smiled at her and took her hand. "Don't fret, you're too young to get wrinkles. Do not worry about me, I will be fine." She nodded. Gretta and Galenta knocked on the door, food and accessories on hand. Mother handed me a hairpin, one I had never seen before. It was beautiful, an elegant bird encased in gold and diamonds.

"I wore this on my wedding day and I thought it only fit for you to wear it as well."

I beamed. "Thank you, I love you."

"I love you, my dear. Now get ready, its almost dark!" She left and the maids started on my long, brown hair. They braided my hair into a crown on top of my head and let the rest fall down around my shoulders. My mothers pin was placed carefully on the side of my head. Gretta went to the closet and pulled out a black bag. She smiled at me and opened it, revealing an off white gown. It glittered in the candlelight, embroidered with diamonds that looks like they were raining down the dress. I gaped, wondering how expensive it must have been. I put on a specially made lingerie set that was white with lace all around the borders. They helped me into the dress and as they zipped me up, I stared into the mirror. Not only was the dress gorgeous but I felt beautiful as well. It hugged my wide hips and thick curves in all the right places, with a medium length v-plunge down my chest. The straps were wide to hold the gown up and they were comfortable. I decided not to wear shoes. The pack was very close to nature and I felt that barefoot would allow me feel the free spirit of the goddess more.

I looked out the window and it was dark. The moon was fuller than I'd ever seen it before, a deep blood orange in color. A shiver crept up my spine and and wave of heat rushed through my body. I was ready for tonight to begin.

I stretched and looked out the window to see the beautiful moon. My wolf side was howling inside of me, just as excited as I was to finally bed Fae. I was struggling not to just barge into her room and take her right now, as the moon was magnifying every feeling I had. My member throbbed, aching to enter her. I groaned and washed up, fixing my hair and shaving my stubble. I leaned over the counter and hung my head. My stomach churned with a mix of emotions and I gripped the counter, my knuckles turning white. I tried to clear my mind, but it was difficult with my wolf so excited. I slipped on a pair of black dress pants and a white button up shirt, leaving it mostly unbuttoned. I was hot and it would come off soon enough. I slipped out the back of the castle and took the dark alleys through the streets. I didn't want anyone to notice me. People were lining up along the street to see Fae walk down to the wedding area. I didn't care about any of it, only her. I crept through the woods to the ceremony stage and waited for the love of my life.

I left the castle and made my way down the hill. Everyone was lined up, cheering as I walked to the ceremony ground. I felt so nervous with all the eyes on me, watching with hope and joy as I was about to become their Luna. My dress trailed behind me as did Keya and my mother. After 10 minutes of walking on the cold stone I entered the clearing. Greyson paced the stage while the seats in front of the stage were filled up with important members of the community. My mother was in the front and Alois was on stage with Greyson. The trees sparkled with candles and flowers. A breeze brushed past me and Grey stopped pacing and froze as he smelled me. I walked closer, seeing his hands in his pockets and his shirt unbuttoned. His chest gleamed with sweat and heaved up and down with his erratic breathing. I stepped onto the stage and timidly walked up to him. I curtsied and glanced up at him through my eyelashes, seeing a tear fall from his eye.

I ended my curtsy and reached to brush his tear away but his hand grabbed mine. He kissed it and gave me the biggest smile.

"You look...so beautiful tonight" he choked out. My heart swelled and tears rose in my eyes too. This was our moment, bonding with each other forever under the full moon. We held hands and Alois began the ceremony. He told us what to say and we repeated, not breaking eye contact with each other. We sliced our palms and held them over a bowl to complete the ceremony Alois mixed our blood and we both drank, first him and then I.

"Kiss your mate, King Alpha Greyson" Alois stated. And so he did. Ever so gently was this kiss. His arms wrapped around my waist, embracing me with all his warmth and care. I held onto him for all I was worth and pressed harder against his soft, full lips. A soft groan escaped his throat and he whispered in my ear.

"I need you...now." I felt hot in between my legs and he growled.
