The taxi pulled over outside a huge villa's gate. Aki followed when Shunsuke walked towards the gate's entrance after paying the driver. The gate opened even before they got close and five big men immediately went out to greet them.

"Young Master." They bowed and parted when Shunsuke walked forward.

Aki was not surprised to see multiple bodyguards when they entered the gate and walked towards the mansion. In some of those missions he accepted before, he saw mansions that were as grand as this. They were grandiose properties of elites who could pay tons of money just to eliminate whoever they wanted and of those he hunted down even in their own homes.

Shunsuke looked back and saw the boy following him looking so calm and relaxed. He studied in prestigious schools and grew up surrounded by elites but none was able to stay calm and unexcited whenever they saw this place. The villa included a big man-made lake with a small floating gazebo at the center, a massive garden, a horse-riding range, a 300,000 sqm swimming pool that was designed to imitate a small beach with a sandy shore, and a four-storey mansion that covered 500,000 sqm. The whole property occupied more than 5 hectares and the servants even had their homes.

"Are you tired? Do you want to ride towards the house?" He pointed at the cars parked near the gate's entrance.

Aki looked back at Shunsuke with a complicated expression. He didn't know which was more ridiculous, the latter calling that residential structure simply as a house, or the offer for a ride for such a short distance after all the trekking they had done. "I don't suddenly look weak, do I?"

Shunsuke understood what Aki wanted to say and he got embarrassed with his offer. He scratched the back of his neck and laughed an awkward laugh, "I was just thinking that you might want a ride this time."

"No, I'm okay." Another one of his flat answers.

"Okay." Shunsuke nodded. Deep inside, he felt that breaking through this person's shell would be one tough, tough job. Impressing him would even be tougher.

When they got inside the mansion, Shunsuke told Aki to wait in the living room while he went to the main study room which was the biggest one among the three study rooms in the mansion.

"Dad."

The old man, Mr. Tsubasa Saito, who was sitting in front of a big monitor stood up and smiled at him. "How was your latest adventure?" He hugged Shunsuke and patted his son's shoulder. "Did you get hurt?"

"No, I was helped." He hugged his father back. He knew that his father purposely worked at home and didn't go to the office to wait for his return.

"Oh?" The old man leaned on the desk waiting for him to continue.

"I think he's a trained assassin. But aside from being my schoolmate, I don't know anything else about him." He paused for a while then added. "Those men, dad..."

"They're paid assassins but not really top class. Don't worry, the nest had already been burnt. Even the eggs are gone."

"You know them?"

"Son, in our kind of life, the only way to survive is to have enough information about everything that may threaten to cease our existence. And when I say enough, it means all, all information. If it is good to know our friends, then it is a must to know our enemies."

His father surely had the quickest way to resolve problems. Just within 24 hours, he was able to fix it.

"How much does the public know about what happened to me and the other students, dad?"

"Nothing. You think I don't know you?"Tsubasa laughed. "You never wanted any fuss to be known by the public, what more to this degree?"

"Thank you, dad." That was one big concern off his head, the one that Aki was also worried about.
