NOSIBUSISO

The weather was somehow bad since it's been raining for hours. This was the longest journey I have ever travelled but I was always asleep most of the time. Nhlakanipho finally parked the car in this yard which had so many houses and those round one's. Typical Zulu family
Me:"Is this a palace or Something?There are so many houses in here"I asked him and he smiled and shook his head. I know he's not fine when he's like this but I kept quiet and climbed out of the car. He held my hand taking a deep breath then we walked over to the yard.
"Bhut'Nhlakanipho, auntie here's Bhut'Nhlakanipho!"A child around 6 years shout running over to us and Nhla picked her up
Nhla:"Mimi how are you?"I guess she's Mimi
Mimi:"I miss you that's all, otherwise I'm fine"she's just so cute
Nhla:"Where's your Mom?"
Mimi: she shrugged her shoulders" I don't know,but Gogo said she's coming back "Nhla nodded with a smile and looked at me
Nhla:"Here's Bhut'Nhlakanipho's wife"the child looked at me and frown
Mimi:"I thought you were going to wait for Aunt'Linda to come back"I frowned
Nhla:"Mimi Your Aunt is not coming back and she said I must move on"I don't know why he's even explaining such things to a child. I tap my left foot down losing my patience and my nervousness was doing no Justice
Me:"Ain't we going in?"I asked more like a statement. He looked down at me
Nhla:"Oh yeah let's go in"We walked over to the house and he knocked. The door was opened by an old woman looking more like Mimi.
Her:"Nhlakanipho,I was a bit worried when your Mom said you won't be coming but I'm glad you're here. Please come in"It was a bit awkward for me since I was not known but Nhla placed the kid down and took my hand into his which was somewhat good. We walked inside and we were met by more people.
One of the lady who was in her early 20s in I'm not mistaken stood up walking over to us.
Nhla:"Zama,how are you?"He let go of my hand and pulled the lady in for a hug. I guess she's 'Zama'. They pulled out and she looked at me
Zama:"You came with someone? Who's she because I'm sure your mother has no other child except you and the annoying Sizwe"Nhla chuckled
Nhla:"Oh no, she's my woman. Mom has no other child"She nods with a face
Zama:"I didn't know you were in for kids, she looks so young for you"
The woman said "Haay Zama leave the poor child alone, you're always so jealous of everyone with Nhlakanipho. You were jealous of your own sister too"Zama rolled her eyes
Zama:"We all know I saw Nhlakanipho before Linda,but she always gets everything from me"She clicked her tongue walking out of our sight
Nhla: cleared his throat"Uhmm Ma I hope you don't mind me coming with my woman?"I'll just say she's MaLinda since it looks like she's their mother
MaLinda:"No no no Mfanwam(my son) it's fine, I'm glad you have moved on. Linda would be happy too and she looks like a good girl"Her eyes were now on me and I looked up to Nhla who smiled so widely.
Nhla:"She's indeed good"
MaLinda:"You're Welcome" one of the woman stood up clicking her tongue then she walked out
MaLinda:"Don't mind this one, she's just so bitter" I nod since she was directing that to me
Nhla:"Can you please show us a room Ma? We're tired and I'm sure Nosi would like to rest right?"I nod. It's been hours on the road road but it's still early. MaLinda walked over to the passage and we followed behind and walked inside a certain room.
MaLinda:"I think this will do, I'll leave you to it"She's great. She walked out of our room closing the door behind and I sighed
Me:"Finally,I don't think I'll ever be around those people"
Nhla:"Come on they ain't bad"Oh really? They're not the type I would like to be around with. Honestly. I stripped naked since it was not something new. I then slide Nhlakanipho's t-shirt which was so comfortable before I threw myself on the bed.
Nhla:"You sleeping?"I nod closing my eyes.

I yawned opening my eyes which Landed on Nhlakanipho. I smiled pecking his lips then I got off the bed walking over to take the basin which was at the corner of our room. I placed it in the middle of the room before I walked out to look for water.
Zama:"So... Does your parents know you here?I mean, you're still a child"I turned without answering her as I made my way to one of the room where I believe it's a Kitchen-i found MaLinda
Me:"Morning Ma"
MaLinda: smile"Morning,I hope you slept very well"
Me:"Yes, I'm sorry I couldn't join you for dinner yesterday"I murmur
MaLinda:"It's Ohk,I understand that you were tired"I nod
Me:"I'm here for some water,I want to take a bath but it looks like there's no bathroom and I.. I'm sorry if I'm talking too much it's just that,I need water"She chuckles softly
MaLinda:"It's fine,take this"She pointed at a basket which had warm water
Me:"Thank you"I took it walking back to my bedroom, I'm calling it my bedroom-wow. I find no one, hopefully Nhlakanipho is out. I took a bath using the basin then dressed in a skirt and a simple tee. I took the dirty water out and on my way back to the bedroom I heard some sniffing in one of the rooms then I took few steps to listen to the voice
"Linda I love you so much, every time I try to convince myself that I have totally forgotten about you is the moment I realize that I'm so much I love you"A tear escaped from my eye. Hearing him saying that breaks my heart,but now it's so much harder than the last time since he's my man but he's still inlove with his dead girlfriend
Nhla:"Though I have found someone, she's amazing. So young but amazing"He Chuckles "I love her so damn much!I can't compare my love for both of you but she's... she's great and I see her as my future wife"It goes silence before he continues "Nosi is childish and has a lot to learn but the love I have for her is too much and sometimes I'm scared to lose her, just like I did with you"I immediately walked out after that because it was too much for me to fathom.

The place was starting to get crowded. I looked at the place and I missed home, Where I grew up. I felt a hand tapping on my shoulder and I turned to look at the person,I nearly fainted.
Nomsa:"I thought I saw a wrong person"She threw herself on me and I didn't know if I should hold her or what since we really didn't get along when we were growing up. She pulled out
Nomsa:"I've never thought I would ever see you again,I..I need you sis"I looked around me and took her hand into mine walking inside the house. We went to the bedroom which I call ours just for the weekend
Me:"How are you Nomsa?" A tear escaped from her eye.
Nomsa:"It's hard Nosi,my life is a mess and I don't know how to get out of that mess"She sniffed
Me:"Tell me what's going on"
Nomsa:"I'm married"I looked at her so surprised "Yes,it was arranged and I thought everything will be fine but it's hard staying in a loveless marriage Nosi"I felt bad for her. Despite of everything she would do to me when we grew up, she's still my sister.
Me:"Come with me"
Nomsa:"What!?No I can't"
Me:"This is your chance  Nomsa,my father would be glad to learn that he has another daughter"
Nomsa:"Your father?"
Me:"Yea,I found him few weeks back and he's cool. Your mother said we share the same father and I think you also deserve to know him"
Nomsa:"What if he's not my father?No I can't"She shook her head and I sighed
Me:"I understand, who did you come with?"
Nomsa:"My so called husband, he's a family friend though we're located in Cape Town"I nod with understanding.
Me:"We'll talk right?We need to talk before I go back to Johannesburg"
Nomsa:"Yea"I smiled standing up. I don't even know how to feel about this

NHLAKANIPHO

This morning it was so emotional for me,I really didn't mean for it to be like that but after walking down the passage,I found myself in Linda's room and all the memories came back. I won't lie and saw I'm over her even though I'm trying to. I still love her but it's so different from what I feel for Nosibusiso. Nosi is so young and has a lot to learn but she always keeps me in my toes. I walked over to the kraal since we were given a job to slaughter a cow. I saw Nosi walking out of the house with Mvelo's wife who I find it weird that she's somehow has some features from Nosi.
Mvelo:"How Come are you in a relationship with someone so young Nhlakanipho?" I chuckled
Me:"Love is love,your wife is also young so don't say anything about Nosi"I tell him
Mvelo:"I hear you,but my side is different from yours since we were arranged"
Me:"Whatever, you're inlove with her. What happened to that Pedi girl?"
Mvelo:"Mathapelo?If she wasn't Pregnant I would have long dumped the shit out of her,that girl is annoying"
Me:"Oh i-"My phone immediately rang and I walked away from the kraal. It was Mlungisi.
Me:"Sho man"
Mlu:"You didn't tell me that you're in KZN"I cleared my throat
Me:"Who told you?"
Mlu:"It doesn't matter, I'm coming down"What?
Me:"No you can't come I..I mean you don't have to"
Mlu:"I'm coming, I'll see you in few hours"
Me:"But i-"He hunged up and I cussed running my hands of my fade so frustrated.
