CHAPTER 24

NOSIBUSISO

I sneeked out of the house heading outside after Nipho's text. I miss him so much and I would do anything to spend some time with him. I walked over to his car which was parking two houses away from home like usually.
Me:"Baby"I excitedly say after seeing him. He looked so down which worried me.
Nhla:"Sweetheart"I sighed as he pulled me closer to him and I rested my hands on his chest
Me:"You're not yourself today"I looked up meeting his eyes"What's wrong?"
Nhla:"I'm fine"I shook my head
Me:"Please tell me what's wrong Nhlakanipho, don't shut me up"He sighed taking my hand into his and we climbed at the backseat. He lay down and I laid on top of him with my head on his chest.
Nhla:"Tomorrow is.. Tomorrow is the.. It's Linda's death anniversary"I didn't know what to say. I didn't even know the lady
Nhla:"I was thinking of visiting her grave"he kissed my forehead"It's been long,I haven't been visiting her since well--"Since he met me, that's what he has to say because that's the truth.
Me:"Since you met me"
Nhla:"Yeah"it went Silence for a while"I really have to see her grave"
Me:"It's fine Nhlakanipho,she was the love of your love or maybe she's still is" I have come to accept it though,that I'm sharing a man with a ghost. Scary;I know. I thought seeing a Therapist will help her but what was I thinking? Seeing the Therapist won't make him erase his feelings for his dead girlfriend
Nhla:"Please don't compare yourself with Linda, she's in the past and you're my future"I sighed closing my eyes
Me:"Can I plan enjoy this moment,I will have to go back inside soon"I immediately changed the subject
Nhla:"Yeah,I just miss you either way"I giggled as he keeps on brushing my hair and pulling it.
Me:"The year will soon end, I'll be doing Grade 9"That was somehow embarrassing. I started School in the middle of the Year thankfully though I'm scared about Grade 10 since I will be going to Highschool meaning I'm going straight to school;I won't be homeschooled.
Nhla:"I believe you'll make it baby,I got your back"I smiled happily. Nhlakanipho is the kind of man you would want to build your home with. I hope and pray to never lose him to some 'sucessful' ladies Because I for one;I don't really feel like I deserve him. A whole Business Tycoon with a 16 years old girl who's doing Grade 8? I hope he never gets tired of me
Nhla:"Sweetheart"
Me:"Mmmmh"I breath out waiting for him
Nhla:"Please don't get tired of Loving me"I should be the one saying that or maybe he's reading my thoughts. J wouldn't dream of leaving him though
Me:"Even if I want to,I wouldn't leave you baby. You can annoy the shit out of me I wouldn't get annoyed of loving you"
Nhla:"I love you, It's so simple falling for you and I do that everyday"
Me:"Do what?"
Nhla:"I fall inlove with you every single day, you complete me"I smiled resting on his broad chest.
Nhla:"Don't you want to go with me to KZN?"I shook my head immediately after hearing him uttering those words
Me:"I don't want what happened last time to repeat itself"
Nhla:"We won't stay,We will fly then"I shook my head. I don't want that. I can't
Me:"Forget it,My Father will literally kill me this time around"
Nhla:"I understand Baby,I will go alone"I nod with happiness. He's literally my happiness though I wish I could wipe his pain and fix him.

The sun reflected through the window which has open curtains. I groaned facing the other side but I was disturbed by the shouting Mapula.
Mapula:"Wake up, it's 12pm"I jumped from the bed looking at the clock;7am.
Me:"You're so stupid"
Mapula:"Like you,Come let's get ready for school"I sighed walking to the bathroom. After doing my hygiene process I walked back to my bedroom and wore my clothes. Time ticked and we were laying next to the pool after attending our lessons.
Mapula:"I think Sizwe is cheating on me"Mapula broke the silence. I looked at her so surprised
Me:"What do you mean?I thought he has changed"I say
Mapula: shrugged her shoulders"Yesterday a phone call came through but when I answered asking who is it,the caller immediately dropped the call"
Me:"Maybe you're imaginating things,Sizwe loves you"I say not so sure. I haven't seen Sizwe since... I don't know
Mapula:"He's acting strange, he's just strange friend and there's no doubt that he's cheating"I snorts getting up.
Me:"You Should talk to him and ask him what's going on because you might lose your relationship because of imagines or thoughs"I say to him"Suspensions won't help in any way"I truely say. I've been watching lot of Series lately and they most woman do what Mapula is doing right now.
Mapula:"Thank you, I'll try and talk to him"I smiled
Me:"You're Welcome, Nhlakanipho wanted me to accompany hin to KZN"
Mapula:"Again!?I hope you said No"I shrugged my shoulders
Me:"Yes I said no,I don't want to be in trouble again"
Mapula:"Great,Is he fine though?"
Me:"Yes he's still fine,I mean... He's recovering"Mapula nods
Mapula:"That's great"I nod with a smile. I wish everything was much easier.

Me:"Please Portia"I plead with her. This may be evil but I know that it will break Mapula.
Portia:"No I can't Sizwe"She says and a tear escaped from her eye" I can't kill her"
Me:"This will break so many souls"I honestly say to her.
Portia:"Do you think I don't know that?My father is going to kill me Sizwe but I won't kill him! It's my baby"I huffed running my hands on my fade.
Me:"Abortion is the only option you know that"
Portia:"No it's not! I'm not killing my baby and that's it! Please leave"
Me:"Portia--"
Portia:"Leave Sizwe! Leave!"I sighed looking at her before I made my way out of her apartment

I was busy with work. Having to deal with such a company can be hard at times but I have to keep my Father's Legacy moving. I placed the files on top of the table loosening my tie as a knock came through.
Me:"Come in"Zama walked inside the office. I wasn't expecting her and I don't know why they let her in.
Me:"Zama..."
Zama:"Hey Nhlakanipho,I hope I didn't come at the wrong time"I huffed settling on the seat narrowing my eyes at her
Me:"What do you want?"I asked her
Zamo:"I...I.. I'm looking for a job and since you know people in the business industry I thought I should ask you"
Me:"For a job in a business industry?Do you have Matric?"I asked her
Zama:"How can you ask me that Nhlakanipho"I shrugged my shoulders
Me:"Leave your C.V then I'll see though I'm not promising anything"
Zamo:"I can work here"I shook my head
Me:"No I don't want you working in my company Zama, now leave I have something more important to attend"
She sighed standing up. She was about to leave when she stopped in her tracks Looking back at me
Zama:"Why do you have me so much Nhlakanipho?"
Me:"I don't hate you Nomzamo,I hate your personality"I honestly say. I hate how Zama carries herself, she's a total slut and I'm not up for it. I wouldn't fall for her even if I try to.
Zama:"I want to be with you,I can change and try to be a better woman Nhlakanipho just for you"I scoffs standing up
Me:"Just leave Zama,I hate desperate woman and it looks like you're one of those"I set my eyes sharply to her
Zama:"I.. I'll be on my way"She was about to leave
Me:"Wait--"She stopped"--Are you moving back to Johannesburg?"She nods
Zama:"Yes,there are no job opportunities back in the village so yeah"so nod.
Me:"Ohk,you may leave"She closed the door behind her and I sighed. I should be on my way to KZN so that I'll be able to arrive in the early hours of the morning. I took my things and made my way out coming across with My P.A
Me:"Cancel all my meetings"She nods and I made my way out heading to my car m I climbed in. In few hours I was at home.
Mom:"My son, How are you?" I smiled Hugging her
Me:"Hey Mom"We pulled out"You good?" She nods
Mom:"Yes I'm good,you look...I don't know"she shrugged her shoulders"tense"
Me:"Tommorow it's Linda's death anniversary"I sighed walking to the kitchen. I opened the fridge talking out cold water after placing my briefcase on top of the kitchen counter.
Mom:"You'll be going to KZN?"I nod taking a glass from the cabinet and I poured cold water gulping it down
Mom:"You'll have to forget about Linda one way or another"She mutter and I looked at her
Me:"Mom--" she interrupted me
Mom:"No woman would allow her man to  do what you're doing, Nosibusiso is young and i understand that she's not... She won't understand as yet but time will come where you have to choose ukuthi umephi"(you're standing) I sighed
Me:"It's hard letting go of Linda"
Mom:"No it's not"She Looked at me"It's just that you haven't tried to let her go"
Me:"Mom--"
Mom:"Try Nhlakanipho,for Nosibusiso think of her"I nod. She's right though. But it's hard.
