It's been a week since I told Jack to basically go away.

I haven't talked to anyone apart from my boss, she asked for me to come in today but I told her I wasn't feeling too great and she said she understood and to feel better soon. So now I'm laid up on my apartment couch, watching American Horror Stories, waiting for Tori to come over.

Tori thinks I have the flu, but I know I don't because this has happened before. This is complete, total heartbreak. She doesn't know that though, and she isn't going to find out because as far as she knows, the last time I saw Jack was that night at the concert.

knock knock

There she is.

I slowly got off the couch and made my way to the door, opening it to be met by Tori.

"Oh my god, what happened to you?" Tori asked rushing in and forcing me to sit back in my spot on the couch, then she took a seat beside of me.

"Nothing, just sick remember?"

"I agreed you were sick over the phone, but you don't bawl your eyes out when your sick and nobody is stupid enough to say you're sick if they see you in person so spill."

"Hey, hey ,hey. What's wrong?" The curly haired boy that had made me so happy over the past three years sat down beside of me.

"I-I have to move..." I said slowly, watching him as the words sunk in.

"Wha-what are you saying...?"

"I...I think we should break up."

"Y/n, no, please!! We can do long distance! I won't have a problem with it as long as I can call you mine!" He began to bawl, there was no doubt in my mind that  I was crying too, despite the hours I spent rehearsing this.

"No Jack, that'll kill both of us. Breaking up is for the best."

I stared at the phone, the text still appearing on my lock screen...

'I'm gonna do whatever it takes for us to be together again, y/n/n, I promise.'

I was shocked, he really did love me.

'I'm not going to give up, we'll be together again soon.'

'Y/n, I'm so sorry I didn't call yesterday. I was so busy I forgot about calling and then I ended up taking a shower and going to bed, please forgive me.'
'It's okay, Jack, you're busy, I get it. You're forgiven.'

'Hey, sorry I missed your call.'

'Hey.'
'Hey'

'I miss you, y/n/n, it's been four months and things still aren't getting any better.'
'I miss you too, Jack'

'I signed with a band today!'
