It's crazy how some people think they can get with you just because you go to the same coffee shop.

I had just ordered my drink, I sat down take a sip as I pulled out my laptop. I've got a bunch of photos to go through from the photoshoot yesterday. I work for a magazine company, I take pictures of the bikini models since the other photographers are guys and they couldn't be professional for more than a minute and keep themselves from hitting on the models.

I had finally been making progress when some guy I've been seeing here for the past week came in but this time he wasn't alone, he had a group of boys with him.

He and his friends were sitting in the booth behind me talking about many different things. I tried to ignore them so I wouldn't be eavesdropping, however one conversation stood out to me.

"Dude, what do you think about that girl behind you?" One asked

"Oh her. She's here everyday." Another responded

"But what do you think of her?"

"Most likely an easy target. I mean, Zach could probably get with her she's so easy"

"Hey. I'm right here ya know" a younger voice spoke up

"Why don't you try it, Jonah?"

"Um..."

"Yeah Jo, if she's an easy target, then get with her"

"Fine. But don't interfere again"

"Hey that was Corbyn last time"

"My girl was calling what'd you want me to do, decline her call?"

"Uh, duh"

There was a sound of skin hitting skin. "How dare you think I'd do that to my queen!!"

"Okay, okay. You're excused. Jeez."

Next thing I know is a tall guy with brown hair is standing next to my table. He gave me a small smile, "hi, is this seat empty?"

I could feel the eyes of his friends on me and that made me even more pissed. "Yes, and this one  will be too if you sit down," I said with a smile. I heard snickers. He then sat right beside of me, trapping me in the booth. I closed my computer before putting it in my backpack along with my camera.

"So what's your name?" He asked

I rolled my eyes, "way out of your league," someone busted out laughing and he turned around and glared

"Okay, what about...oh, what do you take pictures of?"

"Guys that are tens times hotter than you," I fired. He looked...hurt? "If you'll excuse me, I have to go get ready for my job."

"Well, what do you do for work?"

"I take pictures."

"Can I give you my number?"

"If you did I'd hand it to someone else. Can't you tell I'm not interested, sorry for making you think I was an 'easy target' but I actually have standards," and with that I swing my leg over him and slide by him.

He grabbed my wrist, causing me to stop and look at him. "You heard that?"

"Yeah maybe for your next 'target' try sitting further away." I say, jerking my wrist away from his grasp and storming out of the café.

I walked down the street as I heard the café door open again.

I groaned and kept walking, trying to increase my speed.

"Hey. Hey wait up" the familiar voice called. But I ignored it.

Soon there was a hand on my shoulder and it spun me around, "I'm sorry, look the truth is I've liked you ever since the first time I came to the shop and saw you sitting there. I know you're the photographer for those bikini models, I've seen it on your computer. I don't know what I was thinking when I brought the guys there. I should've known they'd do something like that." He looked at me with sad eyes as he paused for breath.

I raised my eyebrow waiting for him to continue

"Will you forgive me?" He asked, he was practically begging.

I sighed and looked at my watch. Shoot. I have 20 minutes to get ready for work and get there.

I started walking towards the street as I ordered my uber.

The boy quickly followed. "Please forgive me, I'll do anything," he begged again.

"Anything?"

"Yes. Name it and I'll do it."

"Okay, never do that stupid thing where you try and get with some random person again"

"Deal."

My uber showed up and I was about to climb in when he stopped me. "Can I get your name?"

I looked into his eyes, they were a gorgeous bluish green color. They were filled with hope, with a sigh I grabbed the car door. "Y/n. Y/n Y/l/n." And then I pulled the door shut.
