"Y/n, come on. We're gonna be late for the concert!" My friend ushered me through the house while I continued to grab my belongings

"Would you calm down, Tori? Jeez we've still got four hours" I laughed, "I love your enthusiasm but chill"

"Sorry, I'm just so excited to finally get to see them in real life!" Tori exclaimed

I bought tickets to see Why Don't We in concert for Tori's birthday, thinking she'd take her sister who also loves the band but instead she wanted me to come. Tori is a huge fan for them and one specific blue eyed boy had her head over heels.

She'd never talked to him in person but he did like a few of her posts on Instagram and Twitter that she had him tagged in. I don't know if he was doing that with all of his fans or just her but it made her extremely happy so I didn't say anything to knock her hopes down.

She doesn't know that I dated one of the five members, she knows I dated someone named Jack from Virginia but she didn't know that it was a certain curly haired boy...besides, I doubt he'd even recognize me after all these years.

"Are you ready now?" Tori asked poking her head out beside the corner.

"Yeah, I'm coming" I laughed and grabbed my car keys

She skipped to the car with me walking right behind her.

~2 hours later~

"This is why I told you that we needed to leave early." Tori said gesturing towards the huddled people around the entry gates

"Well I'm sorry that I ignored you. I honestly didn't think it would be this crowded this early. The concert still has three hours before it starts."

"It's okay, I'm not mad. As long as we get to see them together." She told me with a smile on her face

We stood there for a another thirty minutes before a group of girls started screaming

"What's going on?" I asked Tori hoping she knew more than I did

"I'm not sure but they're pointing over there, come on!" Tori grabbed my hand and pulled me to a gate

That's where we saw a black van pulled up and two brunettes climbed out. They were followed by a blonde and then another-

"Oh my god! Y/n it's Daniel Seavey!" Tori exclaimed pointing at the boy that just climbed out

"I know, I can see" I laughed but I quickly stopped when I saw Jack.

We locked eyes.

He stopped too...

One of their staff members placed a hand on his shoulder and ushered him inside. He didn't stop looking at me until the door closed in his face.

My mind raced back to the parade Jack and I first met at...

How our eyes locked into each other's souls before we even said a short word...

"Oh em gee, Jack Avery was totally checking you out!" Tori squealed

"No he wasn't, there's hundreds of girls here. He couldn't have just singled me out, he must've been looking at someone else." I told her halfheartedly.

"Oh he was looking at someone else, it was me. There's no way he'd been checking you out." A girl said, she had been standing beside of me.

"Who are you?" Tori asked rudely
