Percy POV: "Percy?" I wake up suddenly and look up at my bedroom door and the second I see the tears streaming down annabeth's face, I get out of bed and walk over to her.
"hey what's wrong?" I whisper, wrapping my arms around her
"nightmare. again and I can't sleep" she whispers, resting her head against my chest.
"want to stay here with me tonight?" I ask her and she nods, already falling asleep. I pick her up and carry her to my bed, lay her down and get in beside her she cuddles closer to me and places her head on my chest with her left arm under her head and the right flung across me. my right arm is wrapped around her and my right hand is threaded into her hair and my left hand is holding onto her right. eventually she falls asleep but I stay awake watching over her and playing with her hair and fingers and eventually fall asleep.
