Annabeth POV: "Percy wake up! Percy! Seaweed brain!" I yell, hitting him in the arm. "blue cookies! blue pancakes!" no response. "you're still alive right?" I say, shaking him. "get up seaweed brain!" I say again. finally I get up and walk to the kitchen to make blue waffles and get a blue drink for percy and go back upstairs

"I have blue waffles" I call out and he shoots up, grinning

"oh. NOW YOU WAKE UP?!" I yell, handing him the food and storming out.

Percy POV: I eat quickly and run after annabeth, carrying the present I was going to give to her. I stop for a second and look at the ring. promise ring that is. its silver with an infinity sign made up of emeralds. not real ones though. and on the inside the words 'forever and always' are engraved. how will I give it to her now?
