Kade was alone. It was cold. Ever since Alan disappeared, the weather's been constantly getting colder and colder. And it was no secret that it would continue until they all froze to death. Kade was extremely worried about what their future would hold, but he dare not show it. He was the leader, he needed to be brave. A couple years ago Sarah vanished without a trace. There were rumors that she killed herself to see Alan again. Man, if only he were here right now. Alan was twice the leader Thunder was, and three times the leader Kade was. However, after the Great Clash, no one had seen or heard from him for twenty years. However, back when she was here, Sarah was always outside studying the storms and the weather patterns looking for any signs of him. Then one day, she just vanished. Though, Kade knew that she didn't kill herself. She was looking for him. Little did the others know, Kade saw her sneak out that night. She dropped her spare journal. She had always kept two for some reason. He picked it up that night and read it. She had grown tired of waiting and set out to find him. Ever since that day, Kade had been having visions. He had visions of the bitter cold, and a vast view of the landscape below. He could tell he was somewhere high up. Very high up. Then one night Kade had one of the visions and he managed to catch a glimpse at himself in the vision. That was when he realized that he wasn't looking through his own eyes. He was seeing Alan. Kade hadn't told the others about them. It would cause a massive disturbance. However, Kade had been tracking Sarah. He knew exactly where she was. He had already set out for her to assist here on her journey. He was watching her through the bushes. She was talking to the leader of another Tribe. He watched as she stepped out of their den and walked in another direction. Kade followed her, and she eventually stopped at what looked like trees with cuts in them. He watched as she grabbed her compass and looked forward. He heard her whisper something. "I finally found you." She smiled. "Don't worry. I'm coming." It was then that Kade decided to reveal himself. He carefully stepped out of the bushes. She whipped around with a surprised look. "Kade!" She exclaimed loudly. "Yeah... hi." He said rubbing his ears. "What are you doing here!?" She said. Kade looked at her. "I've kind of been following you..." He said sheepishly. "For two years!?" She shouted. Kade sighed. "No, actually. For the first year you didn't make it very far away. So, I followed you to help you." She sighed. Her eyes then widened. "Wait! Who's in charge while you're gone!" Kade chuckled. "I appointed Rudy as temporary leader. You'd be amazed at how much he's grown." Sarah sighed in annoyance. "Fine. But how could you be any more help than anyone else?" Kade froze. He then relaxed and decided that it was time he told someone. "You see, I've been having these visions. In them, I'm always somewhere really cold and really high up. But I'm not myself." Sarah looked confused. "What do you mean?" She asked. Kade looked her in the eyes. "I'm seeing through his eyes." Sarah gasped. "Are you talking about who I think you are?" Kade nodded. "I'm seeing through Alan's eyes. He's alive, and I have clues to his location." Sarah then proceeded to tell him about her theory and her measurements. And how she thinks Alan was up on the mountain. Kade noticed how him being on the mountain matched with his visions of a high place. They nodded and started towards the mountain. They talked about the possibilities of what they might find up there. Kade mentioned that maybe Alan was trapped up there somehow. Sarah mentioned that he could be looking for something. Though after twenty years he probably would have found it by now. But little did they know, Alan wasn't trapped, and he wasn't looking for something. He was hiding something.
Kade and Sarah continued, and before they knew it, night fell. They gathered wood and started a small fire. They also built two small shelters out of sticks and leaves. Sarah noticed how this was just like Alan's small camp from when he first arrived. It looked almost identical, and it caused Sarah to have memories of the day when she first met him. The day she first fell in love with him. She laughed at the fact she had managed to hide it for so long. She remembered everything about him. His goofy jokes, his laugh, the way he always added a sense of humor to everything. He could always lift her spirits. Then she remembered how mad she was when she discovered he was Thunderheart. She wished that she hadn't acted the way she did. However, that didn't matter now. All that she wanted to do was find Alan and bring him back. She loved him, and everyone needed him back. While Cerberlodus was dead, his Shadowlings had scattered and invaded many territories. He was gravely needed.
