"Who are you?"
"You know who I am. You need to ask more. You are a specimen worth observing, and now I shall have your abilities tested. Be rid of this Comm. Link."
A bright flash of arctic blue light scares me awake. I almost fell out of my bed in fright. I was dreaming, but it felt like I was actually talking to something. Something with omnipotent power that could destroy me with a thought. Thinking on the fly, I decide to ask the closest thing to this power nearby.
Ben : "Uro, was that a dream?"
I asked out loud hoping for a clear answer. I check to make sure Alex was still asleep, only to see his bed empty.
Uro : "You were having communication with a being, your brain was not imagining this."
I stood up and prepared to go find Alex, but my stomach begged a differ. I go get some food before I start my search. While rummaging through the preserving bin, which I just called the Fridge for simplicity reasons, I asked Uro more about this 'conversation' I had.
Ben : "What did it say that I knew who it was, was it referring to me, or you?"
Uro : "That information is unclear, and I cannot answer accurately at this time, the event was so brief I could not get vital information to form a conclusion."
I grab two pieces of cooked meat and a few Tintoberries to chow down on. I asked Uro one final question through a mouthful of cooked meat.
Ben : "Are you the reason why, I can carry so much without being encumbered?"
He did not respond, and silence arose as I sat there waiting for an answer. After 5 minutes of doing so, I decided to continue to eat. Uro probably entered that hibernation state he informed me of.
Ben : "The first time I felt hunger while being here, I guess adrenaline had been hiding that feeling for a bit."
I joked. Right after finishing the first slab of meat, a flashback of the raptor chase played in my mind's eye. I almost dropped the plate of food from the scene replaying again. I started quivering in fear before I scoff at myself.
Ben : "Get a grip of yourself, you're better than this!!!"
I yelled before slapping myself hard in the face. I managed to daze myself from the hit, but it did also work in getting my head straight. Finishing the food, albeit being very dizzy, and with a more than happy stomach that won't throw another fit for now, I open the door and walk outside to search for my friend. As I turn the corner, I see the fire pits were ignited once more. Rounding the corner partially, I see Alex standing in the clearing.
Ben : "Aye, what ya doin' up so early?"
I then noticed he seemed to be having a conversation with something that was out of my vision. Whatever it was, it was hidden behind the base. Being curious ol' me, I walked completely around to see that Alex was talking to...
Ben : "A... Girl?"
The being had the figure of a female human. I put my hands up and started to walk up to the pair.
Ben : "Fool you didn't tell me you found friends!!"
I yelled as I made my way over to the two of them who were now looking at me. As I got closer to them, I started to pick up on details about the girl. She was definitely not a human as I had first thought, rather a humanoid of... something.
She had scale-like patterns all over her body from where I stood, and her head wasn't in the shape of a human's, rather like the Parasaur I met before. Her body was in a humanoid shape, but no pale skin, no clothes, nothing but a naked female of some species standing out in the open. I'm taken aback when I get about 10 feet from them. I noticed another feature that she had. She didn't have scale patterns, she actually had green scaled skin, and a teal spot that ran from her neck and went down to the bottom of her bare stomach. I couldn't lie, she looked amazing, but not my style.
