*A day and a half has passed since the end of the previous chapter's events, it is currently 10:00 PM*

I seriously regret my choice in leaving. There was not one sign of a deep ocean in sight. Bitten up by mosquitos, scraped and scratched up from my ankles to my knees from thorns. And I now had a faint smell of mud and stagnant water from the large swamp biome that I passed several hours ago.

I was following a river, which seems to flow from the mountains, it was cold to the touch, and so clear I could see the pebbles being tumbled through the strong current. My logic was that all rivers drain into a body of water, and that this river would lead me to a body of water where it drained into, which I hoped to be an ocean. I had followed the river down into another forest, when I met up with an old friend.

Uro : "Could we speed this up? This pace will rot my sanity away."

Uro had returned to the confines of my head. I thought that this was his aggressive way of offering me assistance.

Ben : "Sure, I wouldn't mind a bit of help."

I stretched my arms out before I continued.

Ben : "I can bring you up to speed with everything that happened while you were in hibernation."

I offer as the transformation into Uro's hulking form began.

Uro : "No necessary, I witnessed every event."

He averted the conversation there and then. I stand there hearing the high tech machinery and plating phase in and interlock with each other as my size grew. After 5 seconds exactly, the noises cease and I get the green overlay in my vision.

Uro : "Shall we move?"

I do not answer him, curious to see how he would react to this. We march through the forest now with ease. Any tree that was in my path stood no chance. Splinters of wood, trunks being driven into the ground, and loud snaps of large trees giving way and fell to the ground rang in the air as we thundered through.

Bursting out of the tree line, our unstoppable path being laid out by the trail of wood pulp through the forest floor did not end there. Grasslands rolling by, more forests being pulverized in our wake, and a few creatures scrambling to get out of our way.

While cruising through the plains, we get to a rather peculiar sight.

Various formation of protruding red and orange crystal, some towering above the terrain. Charred and blackened stone, ashened ground and crimson colored grass that covered the raised ground. I suggest we move forward to approach it, curious to see what discern this area from the other biomes. We got to about 500 ft from the edge of this scorched biome when a flash of gold and yellow caught our eye.

Towards the top of one of these large crystals sat a group of 4 wyverns, all of them intently watching our form.

As we stared down, and continued so for 5 minutes, a bright red wyvern walks forward. It looked at me, and let out a quick and shrill roar.

Uro : "The wyvern appears to not appreciate our presence"

Ben : "Good."

I answered in our mind. I let out 3 loud bass-filled calls towards the wyverns. I get a response from the red one as it sets the air above ablaze with its fiery breath. A clear sign of power and dominance, it had deemed me a challenger to its turf, another Alpha.

Uro : "Allow me to demonstrate our power once more."

Not hesitating to waste an opportunity of establishing dominance, Uro told me to let down controls for a minute. I do, and immediately I hear a charging sound, and the ground around began to lighten up with light blue. We both knew what was going to happen, so we looked straight up into the night sky, and fired. A bright blue beam shot out from the mouth of the beast and raced sky high. After a second, it exploded with a fierce flash of sky blue and into a fireball of luminescent cyan, along with a blue ring that overtook the sky. When the sound finally reached our ears, the ground and temporarily rendered hearing useless. We look back at the wyverns to see that the challenger wyvern backing away from the ledge. They now knew their place in power.
