Chapter 20 : Party of the Ark

*4 hours later.*

*Ben's Perspective*

"Cannon Ball!!!''

The first thing I heard when I snapped awake.

Ben : "What?"

Ben : "Damn it! I'm missing' out!!"

I exclaimed before rushing out of the bed and changing into my casual clothing. I decided to go shirtless since I felt more comfortable with the feeling of water. Looked down at my frail body, I didn't have all that much to show off by going topless, but I at least had some muscle in my arms. I crafted another keg and placed it in my room. Browsing the new set of recipes, I find many types of drink from back home, including my personal favorite, Whiskey.

Crafting a few of each type, some fruit juices and soda's I recognized, but only the 1 alcohol for me. I ain't risking getting a bunch of Dinosaurs that weigh several tons wasted beyond recognition. There would be no base to call home if Thompson went crazy. I store them in my inventory, and make my way outside to the pool in nothing but my shorts.

Everyone was having a blast in the pool, to my delight. Plyia was in the middle of a splash war everyone. Moa and Thompson splash on one side while Alex and Terra had formed their own alliance on the other side. I looked around excited, but was let down quickly when there was no sight of the silhouette that would have been Mira. I let out a quiet sigh before approaching the maelstrom. Alex saw me and yelled at everyone.

Alex : "Oi, everyone chill for a second!!!"

The pool went calm shortly afterwards.

Alex : "Look who just showed up."

Alex points to me, and everyone cheers as I set up all the food and drink along the table nearby.

Ben : "Yeah yeah, your food master has arrived."

I bow to the crowd, resulting in getting splashed by Terra.

Ben : "OI! No food for you!"

I replied to her watery assault on me, Terra laughed and splashed me again. The water luckily was nice and warm, so I didn't get cold immediately. After organizing the table, I run and jump into the pool, purposely aiming to drench Terra with the splash. The warm water quickly enveloped me as I sank to the bottom. Opening my eyes, I was surprised when I could see everyone clearly, and my eyes were not irritated by the water. I would have had to guess that was one of Uro's upgrades that I shall ask him of later.

Surfacing, my first move was to splash the nearest person to me, which just so happened to be Alex. He put his hands up as a shield as the water war resumed.

Alex : "Your a traitor of the Terrian Empire!!"

Ben : "I was never a subject to the corrupted king!"

Alex was now focusing his efforts onto me. I back up while treading water and team up with Plyia, who was more than happy to have a teammate. The pool erupted in a surge of water. Plyia and I held up at the top corner, everyone on the battlefield easily visible. Moa and Thompson were in the bottom right corner, and Alex and Terra were in the left corner.

Ben : "Hey Tom, Moa, let's get em'!!"

Pointing to Alex and Terra, Thompson and Moa look over and start to advance on them, Me and Plyia following suit.

Alex : "Hey now... W-we can talk about this fella's. Right?"

He started to cower into the water as we approached menacingly. Without any remorse, the four of us pelted the couple with water. After a solid minute of endless barrage, I called a ceasefire. When we stopped, they looked like they had been thrown in a washing machine for 10 minutes. Terra putting her hands up in defeat, nonverbally calling a surrender. Alex follows suit, albeit looking like he had too mentally forced himself to do so.
