The Mosa had just spoken. Oddly enough I swear it sounded like an Italian accent, but I wasn't going to put a pin on that note just yet. But what I did pin, was the situation.

That small sentence changed my motives immediately. This wasn't a tribe trying to avenge lost crew members, this was a hunt of the innocent. I knew who was the friend, and who I will make the foe.

I decide to circle around both the fleet and the two running sea creatures, remaining out of sight of them before gunning it ahead of them. I had a plan, a simple one, but I hoped it would be effective enough to get the job done. After gaining a substantial lead ahead of them, I turn around to face the direction of the approaching fleet.

Uronix : "Slaughter time."

I charge full speed straight forward, letting out a ferocious battle cry that shook the seas around me. I dart through the water. The Plesiosaur and the Mosasaur appeared in my vision, which meant the fleet was just right where I wanted them.

Uronix : "Lets show them how deadly we are when I am in control."

Pulling up, exploding out of the water and disintegrating one of the rafts with a swift snap of my enlarged jaws. With a quick readjustment mid air, I crashed down on another two rafts and their crew. I point upwards and charge for another strike. I noticed that the two sea creatures had stopped 'running' and were now me laying waste to their pursuers.

Showing off, I shoot back up towards a larger raft, breaking the surface mere meters of the primitive sea vessel. I swung one of my talons as I reentered the water, and I feel a slight resistance against it as I submerged beneath the carnage. Looking up to see the damage, only splinters of wood and bunches of thatch and fiber littered the water where the raft once stood.

Now only three rafts remained of the fleet, one of them had already begun to retreat back to the shoreline. They made the right choice, the other two now circling one spot along the ocean. I then get an idea on how to take the remaining two rafts out... with style. Extending each of the 4 long talons, I make them each face equally distant from my body.

With an evil laugh, I start to spin the talons, now acting as a large turbine. Picking up the speed, a miniature whirlpool started to take shape. Looking up I see the rafts being overtaken by the rapidly turning water. I spin the blades faster and faster, making the whirlpool grow in strength and size. I felt a rush of salty air hit my face as the bottom of the funnel reached down to my head. Opening my mouth like a primed bear trap, I patiently waited for one of the rafts to slip down the drain and into the disposal. And I didn't have to wait for long for that very mistake to happen as I saw one of the rafts fall down the vortex and towards me. Once the raft smacked the bottom, my jaws snapped shut, sending bits of raft, tools, and people into the swirling chaos rotating around me.

The second raft had started to fall in, but I had other plans for this one. Halting the rotation of my talons, the vortex quickly filled in with rushing water. the raft still spinning violently inside.

Uronix : "You take the reaction ,the life out of a star, the only way to go, is on itself."

In a few seconds, the void of salt air was filled with water, crushing the raft and people aboard. Some of the crew drifted limply down to the sea bed, obviously expired. But, with a single burst, I lung forward and straight up into the remains of the mighty last stand, launching everything in my path several dozen meters into the air. A second later the loud crash of my form hitting the sea burst forth. I had to wait for the smoke screen of foam and bubbles that saturated the seawater around me.

Spotting no more rafts adrift, I swim up and poke my head out. I spotted the grounded raft that had fled, the crew of the ship resting on the beach side recovering, but looking back at me with terror. A younger crewmate upholstered his Longneck out from behind his back and fired at me. A subtle kink sounded as the bullet ricocheted harmlessly off me. I let out a thunderous roar to them, letting them know that these waters belonged to me now. I glared at the gun wielder and gave them a wink, which he only seemed to notice since he lowered his weapon in response. The crew seemed to be glaring at the kid holding the rifle, so I made sure to make it clear to them a point that the kid had just proven.
