Rhiannas POV
It’s been two weeks since the boys tried to talk to me and I'm trying to figure out how I’m supposed to feel about the fact that they've given up.
They act like I don’t exist which is what I wanted but in a way it hurts. I know I’m being bipolar but I know it has to be this way.
Cams been getting worse. He’s paler and he stays in his bed most of the time since he doesn’t have the energy to walk around.
He tries to hide how he’s feeling with a smile but I can tell he’s in pain. It pains me to say this but I know he’s going to die soon.
I feel pathetic at the fact that my best friends dying right in front of me and I can’t do anything about it. I just have to watch. It like torture seeing him like this.
I know it’s hurting the other boys too because they don’t smile much anymore. I don’t blame them though I mean how could be happy and smiling while you’re losing one of your best friends. You just can’t help but feel guilty about it.
I’m currently making my way back from the store. I’ve just gone to get Cam some skittles.
I come in to see Cam sleeping on his bed breathing heavily. I sit down on his bed a gently shake him. He stirs a bit before opening his eyes. I give him a gentle kiss on the forehead.
“Hi, I got you skittles” I say, he gives me a small smile which I can see he’s struggling to display.
“Thanks” he says with a croaky voice. I give him a small smile in return.
I get back up and go down stairs to hear a knock at the door.
I slowly make my way towards the door to answer it.
I open the door to find JJ.
“Hey, um I came to see Cam”
I nod my head and let him in while.I go upstairs to get Cam.
“JJ is here to see you”
“okay” he says with a tired smile as he slowly get out of bed.
I wait for him to walk out the door before I follow behind him.
We get downstairs. JJ and Cam greet eat other while I stand there awkwardly.
“So I actually came here to see if you wanted to hang out?” he says to Cam
“Sure bro what do ya wanna do?”
“We could hand out at mine, Rhianna you're welcome to come if you'd like...”
I shake my head no.
“Please” Cam whines. I roll my eyes and sigh.
“Fine”
He gives me a victorious smile.
We both walk outside and get into JJs car.

When we arrive at JJs we all go in and sit down in the lounge room.
The boys play video games and talk while I sit with my phone.
The boys were in the middle of a conversation when they’re interrupted by the front door slamming.
“JJ” Someone yells.
I know that voice. Well this is going to be awkward.
“Hey guys what’s up-” Jack says before he instantly stops speaking when he sees me.
As soon as I see him my mine replays the image of us kissing at the park. What is wrong with me?
“Hey bro, nothing much, just invited Cam and Rhianna over to hang out” JJ says.
Jack nods and goes to sit next to Cam. We all stay silent. I decide to text Cam.
R: I think I’m gonna go now
C: No stay
R: It’s really best if I leave
C: I will pin you down to this couch so you won’t
I look up at him a raise my eyebrow while he gives me devious smirk.
I laugh to myself and roll my eyes.
R: fine I’ll stay
“Okay so what do you guys wanna do?” Cam asks, trying to break the awkward silence
“Do you guys wanna go to In’N’out and get some food?” JJ suggest
I shrug my shoulders, Cam nods and Jack just ignores the question.
“Okay well I’m gonna ask if Sammy wants to meet us there.” JJ says
We all begin to walk to the car when Cam calls shotgun. JJ was obviously driving which meant I was stuck in the back with yours truly.
I give Cam a glare while he sticks out his tongue. We all sat in the car and began to drive to In'n'out
Jack and I don’t say anything to each other and just sit there in silence while the boys start talking about basketball.
We soon arrive at in’N’out and hop out of the car. Sammy’s standing at the entry with his phone in his hand.
“Hey guys” Sammy says. They all greet Sammy while I stand there awkwardly.
“Okay well let’s go eat.” Cam says
We get inside and sit down at a booth. After about five minutes the waiter comes to serve us.
“Hey guys are you ready to order?” she says with a friendly smile
They all order until it’s my turn but I just give her a kind smile and shake my head indicating I wasn’t getting anything. Cam gives me a look and buts in.
“She’ll have the same as me” he says with a smile. I give him a glare but he ignores it. The waiter goes off to prepare our food.
“You do realise if I wanted something I could have ordered myself” I say to Cam.
“But you didn’t want anything so it’s my duty as your best friends to feed you” I roll my eyes and grab my phone out. My phone vibrates as I open the message.
JJ: you should really put your phone away and talk to us.
I roll my eyes.
R: Nah I’m good.
I look up at him and see him rolling his eyes and laughing.
JJ: We miss you. Jack hasn’t been the same since you’ve stopped talking to him
I begin to feel bad but it was for his own good.
R: well he needs to learn to deal with it because I’m not going to come back
JJ: Why not, he misses you and he doesn’t know what he’s done wrong for you to just cut yourself out his life. We all don’t know what we’ve done.
R: He haven’t done anything, none of you have but JJ believe me when I say it’s for the best
With that I put my phone away.
“Cam I’m gonna go home, for real this time” I say,
“Please stay” he says
“Nice try but no bye Cam, I’ll see you tomorrow” I say while I kiss his cheek.
He smile and nods. I get up and begin to walk to the door. I call a cab to come pick me up.
When I arrive home I walk around the house for a bit. It feels like I haven’t been here in ages and it feels odd being here without Cam.
I go upstairs and walk into my bedroom and go to sleep.
