I head back to my room after getting a long lecture from my father about being safe and all that other shit. I was kind of annoyed at this point. He began to treat me like a little kid ever since this vampire vs. human war started.
I swing my bedroom door open and see Gunwoo jump in surprise. I slam the door closed "H-Hyung, what happened?" he asks me. I took a deep breath not wanting to take my anger out on Woo. "Nothing, Woo."
I noticed that he had something in his hand, a necklace. Mrs. Jeon's necklace. "Woo, where'd you get that?" I question, inching closer to him "Well... I took it from your drawer" he confesses as he hands it to me. "Sorry, hyung. It was really pretty" he pouts. I take another deep breath "It's okay, Woo" I tell him and reach my hand out as well.
But as soon as I touch the moonstone, I became overwhelmingly dizzy. I felt my body hit the ground "JIMIN HYUNG!" was the last thing I heard and it went black.

"Jimin" Mrs.Jeon calls my name. My eyes open "Wait- did I die?!" I ask as lift myself of the ground. "No, silly. You just passed out. It's been a while since you've worn this necklace. Y'know I gave it to you, so it could protect you" she tells me.
"I understand... it's just that, it brings back memories of I people don't wanna think about" I explain to her. She hums "Speaking of people you don't want to think about. I know the whereabouts of Jungkook" she says.
"Wait, so he's not dead?" I ask standing up excitedly. "Well, he's a vampire. He's been dead for a long time. But... yeah he's alive" she smiles as she tells me the news. "So... where is he?" I ask.
"Jungkook isn't even in Ulsan, he's in Daejeon. But since you probably can tell, Ulsan is the next place where vampires are going to invade" Mrs. Jeon tells me.
I nod "Miss.. why are you telling me this now?" I inquire. "You seem sad that Jungkook and Taehyung weren't with Chin-Mae. But you might be more shocked that Chin-Mae is now a vampire" she says.
"Yeah... I'm both" I give her a small smile. "You should get back, that boy Gunwoo is gonna tell your parents that you passed out. And don't let your mother see that moonstone" she tells me. "Wait.. you know my mom?"
"Hmhm, she used to be my best friend. Until my death of course. In fact, she gave me this necklace herself" she tells me with a bittersweet smile on her face. 'That smiles doesn't give me, "I miss my best friend" vibe.' I think to myself. "You need to get going, bye Jimin."

"Hyung!" Gunwoo hugs me, this is the first time I had a bad headache after coming from Mrs. Jeon's dimension. This is probably because I hit my head on the ground. "Woo, how long have I been passed out for?" I ask, rubbing the back of my head.
"About a minute or two" he says as tries to help me off the ground. "Hyung, you need rest or food. You fell down so suddenly, I was scared" he looks at me with concern. "Everything is fine, Woo. But I am a little hungry" I chuckle.
"You sit here and watch tv, I'll be back" I tell him and leave my bedroom. I head downstairs and enter the kitchen and see my mother, cooking. "Oh, Jiminie" she notices me "You hungry?" she asked.
"Yes I am, " I answer her but I had other questions I wanted her to answer. "Mom did you know Mrs. Jeon, Jungkook's mother?" I question her. Mom stops her cooking suddenly and slowly turns off the stove.
I know I was told not to tell her.. But answers where what I wanted right now.
She turns to me "What do you know about Areum?" she asks me. "Would you believe me if I told you that she is basically my guardian angel?" I tell her. "I get it, Areum she's dead but Jimin don't go this far" she lowers her tone. "Look, I'm serous" I say about to pull the necklace out of my pocket but remembered Areum said don't show mom.
"Look at what?" she questioned me, I have to show her, sorry Mrs. Jeon. "At this" I say pulling the necklace out, and I show her the moonstone necklace. Mom's jaw drops and walks closer to me, gently taking the necklace out by hands, observing it. "But... how? She was burned at the stake with this on... I watched with my own eyes" mom began to tear up. "Areum said that you two were best friends... but I don't believe that. Who was she to you mom?" I ask.
"This might sound awkward but...in our teenage years. Areum and I used to date but this is of course before I met your father" mom explains. I smile "Mom I have no right to judge...I'm gay" I chuckle. I knew those two were more than best friends.
"But Mrs. Jeon said that the vampires next target is Ulsan and that we should go to Daejeon because it's safer" I alter what she actually said. "Hmm, are you only saying that because she told you Jungkook was there" she laughs as hands me the moonstone necklace.
I roll my eyes playfully "Maybe both" I say. Mom goes back over the stove and turns it back on. "I'll talk to your father about it. And dinner will be ready soon."
