a success & turning

              𝐓𝐎𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 [𝟗:𝟏𝟑 𝐏𝐌]

             It was night, and my mom and I were
just arriving at the Guem River. There were over
a hundred people. Wow, Areum must be
powerful.

The three vampires rush over to us "Finally,
we were waiting for you two" Hoosung says.
"Sorry" I chuckle, mom doesn't say anything
and walked off to the circle of witches and
warlocks.

I stare at my mom, I wanted to cry once again.
But of course. Jungkook noticed and pulled me
into a hug "Don't worry, baby. I'm sure she'll be
just fine" he pecks my cheek as he pulled away.
But I wasn't too sure if she would be.

"It's beginning" Hoosung tells us.

The witches and warlocks all linked arms.
"oblivisci oblivisci, ut ad orbem terrarum
quondam iterum esse pura" they chant calmly.
I furrow my eyebrow, what language were the-

"It's Latin" Jungkook tells me. "diabolica illa:
in oblivione eris, et mundus erit ad bestias
pax" they continue on.

The winds began to become rougher. The river
also began to rumble, nothing wasn't calm any
longer. "procella mittat propitiatio et omnes obliviscaris" they started to get more aggressive.

Thunder roared above us, the sky turned even
darker as the gray clouds began to cover the
sky. "What's going on?" I mutter to myself.

I'm here, Jimin.

"A-Areum" I look ahead of me. There was
Areum, in the middle of the circle, chanting
along with the rest of the witches and warlocks. "MOM!" Jungkook rushed forward but I held
him back.

"You can't ruin the ritual" Jungkook looked
back at me like I was crazy. He tugged his
arm away from me. The three of them left me
behind and went to get a closer look.

"Et omnia pergunt sit, nemo scire potest!" they
began to shout. It started pouring rain and
lightning lit up the sky, while thunder kept
howling.

Something didn't feel right "Jun- argh" someone grabbed my throat "What the hell is going on"
he growled in my ear. It was Akma. "I-I don't
know-" he grips my hair and covers my mouth,
muffling my cries.

The chanting, the thunder, the river was all
drowning out my cries for help. Nobody was
paying any attention. "I'm about to sabotage
their little party" he whispers into my ear.
I shake my head "no" frantically. I look out
the cover of my eye, it was Kyong.

I look at him with pleading eyes "I'm sorry"
he mouthed. "Nice necklace, you wouldn't mind
if I took this, right? I'm sure Kyong would love
this" he rips the necklace off my neck. No, no,
no, It was hopeless now. My eyes began to sting, "Jungkook" I thought to myself and he finally
looked in my direction. His eyes widen at the
situation in which I was in right now.

"Jimin!" Jungkook screams out to me, his eyes
screamed...fear? "No don't!" he shouts once
again. Hoosung, Tae and him began to rush
towards me.

I heard the sound of a mouth opening near my
ear. Now, I knew what was happening. I was
really gonna die this time. A single tear rolls
down my face.

I felt Akma roughly dig his fangs into my neck.
Ripping into my skin, oh gosh it hurts. I didn't
get close my eyes before I was thrown onto
the wet forest floor. I could still see the
vampires make it to my body.

I could hear, I could see but I couldn't move.

"ACTUM PRAETERITUS!" the witches scream
and a lightning strike hits nearby. BOOM!

It all started to fade, my sight and my hearing.
I was dying. I was numb as well, I couldn't
even feel my wound. And even worse. I'll
never know if we succeed or not.

"Akma you're dead-" was the last thing I heard.
And it was Jungkook.

"EVERYONE GIVE HIM ROOM HE'S
WAKING UP" My eyes flutter open to seeing Jungkook pushing everyone back and he kneeled down next to me. "Baby, I'm so happy you're
alive" he kisses me.

Huh? I swear I just died.

"We thought we lost you this time, Jiminie"
Tae adds. "Here, you definitely need this" Kook
places my necklace around my neck. "So, Hyung,
do you feel any different?" Hoosung questions.

Different?

"Um~ not really" I tell him. As I sit up off
the wet floor. "Were you guys successful?"
I ask the witches and warlocks as I scan the
crowd for my mom. They all started to chat,
I was hearing all yes's.

I found mom standing next to Areum. I quickly
stand up and rush to hug both of them. "How?"
I ask Areum "Well, they brought me back to
help with the ritual and I guess I'm here to
stay" she smiles.

I go to rub my neck to feel the bandage but
there was none. And then got a sudden pain in
my teeth. I glare at Jungkook "Did you turn
me?" I ask, glaring at Kook.

Jungkook nervously chuckles "Well uh, baby.
You were kinda dying and I needed to act quickly"
he grins, hiding behind Tae and Hoosung.

I huff out my nose, trying to keep a straight face.
I wasn't actually angry.

After giving him a smile he ran over to me,
holding me in a tight embrace. "I'm glad we'll
be able to spend the rest of our lives together" Jungkook says, cupping my face and pulling me
in for a kiss then hugging me once again.

"Group hug!" Hoosung shouts happily and him
and Tae joins the hug.
