I practically hopped up to our room as I went to find Ron.

I was wearing one of my old suits, which was a white blouse with a black blazer and trousers. I wore my black dance shoes that I used to wear. I still didn’t like the idea of dancing, but Ron has helped me and I often forget about everything and lost myself in the movements. It took a while for Ron to learn the dance efficiently enough but he still wasn’t the best.

I opened the door as I spotted my date in front of the mirror, panic covering his face.

“What are those?” He asked me suddenly causing me to jump.

“M-my dress robes…” I stammered as Ron looked over me.

“But those are alright. No frilly collar, no lace.” Ron despaired while messing with his outfit.

“Yours are more traditional.” I shot back quickly. They were more traditional but not even when they came out did many wear them. I think crazy cat lady Marget wore them, or at least that style, to our award ceremony.

“Traditional?! I look like my great aunt Tessy. I smell like my great aunt Tessy.” I felt bad for Ron as he spoke.

Biting my lip, I walked forward and hugged him. “Maybe we could do something. I backed away as I grabbed my wand. “Close your eyes,” I sung as he did so. I started to use charm after charm to change his outfit. After ten minutes of constant spell using, I took a deep breath and wiped the sweat from my forehead. “Alright, open them again.” I sung as Ron slowly opened his eyes.

Ron let out a startled gasp while staring into the mirror.

I held onto my wand nervously as I fidgeted fearfully. “D-do you like it?”

Ron turned to look at me, the biggest smile on his face. “Like it? Harry, I love it! I have no idea how you did this but thank you so much!” Ron pulled me into a tight hug as I giggled happily.

I had changed his robes into a maroon-brown suit, with a maroon-brown blazer and white dress shirt beneath it. I gave him a maroon waistcoat with red lining. He had maroon dress trousers and light brown leather dance shoes which matched his brown tie. I also decided to mess, a little bit, with his hair to make it neater and sway it off to the side. I made sure to get the balance right between the comfy suit for dancing and ones that showed of his muscles and body. Honestly, I’ve been planning this since Ron received the robes knowing who wouldn’t want to go in those, I’ve practiced on how to change the robes into this masterpiece of a suit for him.

“I am glad!” I laughed as I grabbed his arm. “Now can we go?” I asked sweetly as he laughed at me.

“Of course, don’t back out on me.” He joked while linking our arms and leading me out.

It didn’t take long to make it to the hall. I noticed people watching us as I started panicking. What if they reject us? They’re going to hate us! And I’m taking down Ron with me. Ron suddenly stopped as he looked at me and motioned for me to take a few deep breaths. He waited for me to calm down before continuing.

“Potter, there you are. Are you ready?” McGonagall asked me as I shared a concerned look with Ron.

“Ready?” I asked fearing the answer.

“To dance, it’s tradition for the three champions- well in this case four- to dance first. Surely I told you that?” She explained quickly as I shook my head. “Oh, well now you know. Go find your date and get ready.”

I was going to correct her but she ran after another student. Shrugging, Ron turned to leave.

I was going to follow him when I spotted Moine coming down the stairs and forced Ron to at least wave.
