It was June and I was back home for a month or two. I called Alexis so we can meet and discuss some things, I didn't want to ask her on the phone so this was the only way I can do it is face to face.
"Hey, Bry!" Alexis said.
"Sup!" I said as she gave me a side hug.
"Daddy!" Harley said as I picked her up.
"Hey lil mama, miss you so much!" I said giving her kisses on her face as I gave her a hug.
"I miss you too!" Harley said as she repeated what I did to her.
"Go play with your toys, so I can speak to ya mama okay?" I questioned.
"Okay," Harley said as I kissed her forehead.
After she left, the only thing I felt was Alexis' lips on mine as I was thrown off by it as I pushed her off of me.
"We need to talk!" I managed to say looking at her like she was crazy.
"About what?" Alexis asked.
"You and Bri!" I said as she rolled her eyes.
"She told me her side of the story, and it just doesn't add up Alexis!" I added.
"Why did you lie for?" I asked.
"Because I see that you're happy, and Harley talks about how she's so nice and pretty. It makes me think I wasn't good enough or pretty enough when we were together," Alexis said.
"Alexis, I am always going to love you... You had my 1st child, no one isn't going to change that... I fucked up when we were together, you gave me a chance and took me back but I got caught on cheating so you ended things... I wanted a second chance but you never gave me that chance to take, so now that I am a changed man and actually being a good nigga to my girl and see me happy you want to start some shit with her?" I questioned.
"I don't want no drama between you and Bridgett. She's over about what happened, I just want you to put your difference aside and be nice to her for me." I told her.
"Yeah... Okay!" Alexis said.
