In battle, The Sign of Destruction Kinnas was being overwhelmed by the power of the Prince.

"AGH!-" Kinnas panted, blood spilling from his wounds.

"Woah, Aether is so strong!" Cile said, amazed.

"His power is certainly overwhelming..." Zonid said.

"Naturally." Aurie replied. "While Kinnas's power level is a high 53,000, Aether's is nearly double that." She explained, "And now that he's in his Demon form that number is even higher."

"Wait, Demon form?"

"Gh- You, b*****d!" Kinnas shouted, coughing up blood. "For years we've waited for this moment, waiting to destroy our enemies!"

Aether slowly walked up to him, and patted him on the cheek. "It was the same for me, honestly."

Aether then slapped Kinnas, who was launched further away into the ground.

"Easy, don't die yet." He smirked.

"Wait... That's not how Aether usually does things." Zonid frowned.

Aether walked up to Kinnas again, with a smirk on his face.

He shakes his unmasked face and looks at him with tears in his eyes.

Kinnas heard a voice.

He closes his eyes.

Aireshi looks at him. "You- You promise?"

The energy around Kinnas disappeared.

So take down this barrier and go to her."

Aireshi lets go, wipes his tears, and returns the Barrier into his mask.

"Resh..." Physell said with tears in her eyes.

Aireshi hugged her, and she sobbed happily while hugging him back.

Kinnas looks back at them, clenches his fist, and takes a deep breath.

"It appears I am the one who is wallowing in sentiment."

He walks up to Aether.

"Kill me."

"Wait no!-" Aireshi shouted.

Aether smirked.

He punched Kinnas with an immense dark power, which he instantly died to.

Aireshi gasped, while Physell looked in a sad disappointment.

The others looked at him with an unhappy expression.

"Aether..." Zonid whispered to herself.

In the whispers of the sky, a voice is heard.

"You did the right thing, my friend..."

Meanwhile from a distance, Perster watched.

"Unfortunate. I'll have to tell King Shi about this."
