Backstory- Hoppo is my father and Jesse is the love of my life. My dad doesn't want me to date, anyone, he works with. Especially Jesse with his reputation even if he has changed

Your POV
Me and Jesse have been dating for 6 months now and somehow my dad hasn't figured it out yet. I am in the tower every day waiting for Jesse to finish "Y/N what are you doing here?" My dad walks into the tower.

"Oh hey dad, I'm just waiting for some of the guys to knock off and we are going surfing!" I said when in reality all the guys knew about mine and Jesse's relationship and promised to help us keep it secret.

Jesse walked into the tower followed by Kerrbox, Harries and Deano "Y/N you ready to go surfing?" Deano shouted.

"Why to ask if you know the answer?" I responded.

Hoppo's POV
I knew something was up with Y/N she had been going surfing every day and only when Jesse knocked off or all day if he was off. That's when it finally clicked she was dating Jesse behind my back! After they left I interrogated Maxi. He was in the tower with Chappo and H. I knew if anyone had information it would be Maxi he's Jesse's best friend and they have no secrets between each other. "Maxi can I talk to you for a second?" I asked trying to sound causal.
"Sure thing Hop. What about?"
"About Jesse and my daughter!"
"Ok what about them?"
"They're dating aren't they?"
"No, why would you think that?" Maxi stuttered.
"I don't know, maybe the fact I saw him kissing her a few days ago."
"Hop I'm serious mate. They are not together." *makes fake ringing sounds* "sorry Hop have to take this"

I knew he was lying but I had all the ammunition I needed to get someone else to break. I walked back into the tower. "Hey, Chappo I need to talk to you. Can you come outside?"
"Yeah sure mate coming now."
"Ok. Maxi told me Y/N and Jesse are together. How much do you know?"
"Maxi that idiot! Jesse's gonna kill him, unless Y/N gets to him first."
"Chappo I have a confession. Maxi didn't tell me but you just did!" I laughed.

Chappo had a look of pure disappointment as he entered the tower.

Your POV
I was out having a nice time with Jesse. Occasionally surfing a wave so it didn't look too suspicious whilst the others just kept an eye out for my dad. Sure enough, there he came paddling as fast as he could. I surfed a wave in with Jesse and ran different directions hoping he wouldn't catch both of us. I ran into the tower. "Ok who broke. They are a dead..." before I finished Chappo bolted out the door. I grabbed a radio.

"Y/N to all lifeguards at Bondi, Tama and Bronte, Chappo broke. If you see him stop him and let me know where he is immediately he is a dead man walking! Thanks to everyone who didn't break."

1 year later
It had been a year since my dad found out. He was surprisingly ok with it. The only problem was he had made sure I never surfed alone with Jesse and always had someone watching me. I didn't really care as I still got to see Jesse then one day my dad let me go out surfing alone with Jesse this is when it happened Jesse tipped me off my board and pulled me on his. Then he did the unthinkable he proposed to me! Just like Deano had done with Lili a few years prior.

5 years later
My life has been great since Jesse proposed. I had two lovely children a 4-year-old boy named 'Bruce', in memory of my father who died rescuing someone, they panicked so much they forced him under and he couldn't get up for air, and a two-year-old girl called 'Penelope' because I thought it was a cute name. Deano became the head lifeguard after my dad died and Jesse got promoted to a team leader. Like I said my life was great. Apart from my dad dying, but he died doing something he loved, protecting the beach he called home.
