Reidy- The Training Session
Your POV
It was my first time training since I had our beautiful daughter Fred, I love her so much. Whippet, my brother, had offered to train with me but Reidy insisted he would. It was his first day off in weeks but he said he wanted to. We ran down the golden sand of the famous Bondi Beach, the beach on our doorstep. Reidy suddenly stopped and bent over "are you ok?" I asked, he nodded so I just assumed he was catching his breath.

It had been a few minutes and he was still struggling "I'm going to get whoever's in the tower." I said as we had stopped just a few meters from the tower. He nodded and I ran as fast as I possibly could to the tower. "Reidy... help... run... stopped... scared." I said trying to form a sentence but failing miserably because I was so scared and extremely tired, this was the first run I had done in nearly a year.

"It's ok Y/N. I'll come down with you, just calm down ok, he will be fine." Harries said reassuring me. He grabbed the oxygen kit and followed me to where Reidy was still hunched over gasping for air. He had broke out into sweats. Not sweats you get when you exercise, cold sweats like when you are scared.

"I... never... did... it." He said to Harries in between breaths. Harries muttered something to him but I couldn't hear it. Someone must of called my brother, Whippet, because he came running down the beach and engulfed me in a massive bear hug.

"It's ok, it's ok, don't worry he'll be fine." Whippet tried to soothe me. I didn't work, I didn't panic more but I didn't calm down either. Harries gave Reidy some oxygen, and hoods breathing became more regular.

"Y/N, I have wanted to do this since the day I met you. Asking you to be my girlfriend, almost 10 years ago, was the first step. I love you so much, but I love Fred more..." I playfully slapped him "ouch, well what I was trying to say was will you make me the happiest man in the world and become Mrs Y/N Reid?" He asked and pulled out this beautiful engagement ring.

I was speechless, after a few seconds he started to look worried, I couldn't help but giggle "of course I will! Sorry I was just really shocked!" He leaped up and kisses me. There were several wolf whistles, after we finished kissing I looked up to see Harries holding the button on the radio and all the boys heard the big question and were whistling through the radio, time boys in the tower didn't needed to use the radio because we could hear them clearly anyway.

"I call being Best Man!" Maxi shouted over the radio. That started a as massive argument between all the lifeguards.

"I should be Best Man a) because I'm awesome, b) because I'm Reidy's best mate and c) because I'm Y/N's brother!" Whippet argued.

"Exactly, you're my brother which is why you are walking me down the isle!" I said joining the argument. I never asked Whippet to do it but with my dad in a better place I felt like it was the best option.

"Wait really?!" He asked, bouncing up and down, clearly excited. I just nodded "I'm walking my sister down the isle! I have the best job!" He shouted down the radio. He just hugged me so tight I felt like he couldn't breathe.

The argument about Best Man went in for so long that they ended up drawing straws and Harries won.
