Here is out main character!!! This is her outfit for actually graduation!!!
A/N; for the record, the girl I cast as Marigold is @scarlett on Instagram, and I imagine Harry to have long hair in this fanfiction.
Also just so you know, trailer will be uploaded next chapter!! I hope yo enjoy my newest fan-fiction!I stand on the football field, and I know that tomorrow will be the very last time I have to do it, the last time I ever have to look at most of the faces here, and I could jump for joy. I heard that graduation practice is the worst part of high school all together, and I never believed it until I actually had to endure the excruciating hours of sitting in stiff chairs, just so our principal can make sure we walk across the stage right.
I think it's only this bad because I've been done with high school for two weeks now. I've been ready, and now the only thing that's holding me back is this damn practice and a night of sleep.
"Carsons after this?" I turn over my shoulder, and see his mess of hair blowing in the wind as we stand here. He's looking around at everyone while we wait to practice walking. He's the sentimental type though, the kind that will get all teary eyed thinking about never coming back here... He's always been that way.
"Sure." He speaks, his hands still shoved into the pockets of his jeans.
"And then we can go get you a haircut after." I joke, reaching up to mess with his hair. He grabs my wrist, stopping me, holding both of them as he stands over me, giving me the same soft smirk, and look.
"Watch yourself Goldie... I want to grow it out, love it or leave it." He lets my wrists go, giving me a soft smile as he starts to look around.
"I'll choose to love it." Like I love you... I think in my mind, dammit. He gives me the side eye, and I turn around at the sound of my name.
"Marigold Styar." The principal speaks over the field, and I go on the stage, jumping across, receiving dirty looks from all the teachers that hated me for breaking dress code every moment I could and always showing up late to class.
"Harry Styles." They call out as I pretend to grab my diploma and jump off the stage, sticking the landing perfectly and heading back to my seat. I plop myself down, and lean back, watching Harry walk over to me, sitting next to me as usual.
Our last names are so close that we've been in the same homeroom together as long as we've known each other, but I'm thankful for that because he can always be by my side at school events like this one, when I'm bored out of my mind.
"You could take some things seriously you know? Like graduation... you only graduate high school once." He tells me, looking at me from the side.
"And the only thing I have to show for my graduation is a diploma... I can't even say I got to date Harry Styles while I was stuck in this hell hole. Graduation is stupid, and so is this practice, just give me my diploma and let me leave." I look forward, watching the others walk across the stage.
"They will give you your diploma, patience is key... and stop making jokes about dating me." He pushes my shoulder to the side, and I stay silent. If only it was a joke Styles... if only. The rest of the practice went by miserably slow, and afterwards Harry dragged on saying bye to people as if we're not going to see them at the ass crack of dawn tomorrow for the real deal.
I stand by his car, and pull on the handle as he walks up, smiling, and shaking his head. "You realize that you standing there pulling on the door handle isn't going to make it open right?" He asks with a smirk, dangling his keys in front of my face. I reach for them and he moves them back, but I fall into him, my hands on his chest as I jump for the keys.
