A/N: There's a new character coming Hehehehe

The sickness was the worst I'd ever had. Harry stayed home all day Thursday and hung out with me and Krys that night. He went to class Friday but came home as soon as possible so he could take care of me even though I told him I didn't need it.

Things got worse before they got better, and my parents were ready to come to the city, but I convinced them not to. Everything started feeling fine until I got an email from professor Jenson.

He needed to see me, and for some reason I felt like I was in a shit ton of trouble. I'm better now, walking into class early so I can go to his office, and when I knock on the door I feel myself taking a deep breath, trying to not flip the fuck out.

"Mari! Come on in." He opens the door, waving me in, and closing it behind him. "Have a seat." He walks around his desk, and waves to the chair not in front of it but beside it, giving me a soft nod. I sit where he motions, and put my bag down to the side of me, my skirt grazing the top of my thighs. "You've already missed my class once... For some reason I can't shake the feeling it was out of fear of failure and-" He starts.

    "Actually I was-" I begin.

"You're smart Mari... But I can see you're someone who lives in fear, someone who makes small strides because she's afraid her big ones will be too loud.. I know I was a bit tough the other day, but I think that's what you need. You need someone who will be a bit rough with you so you can reach your full potential... I read some of your portfolio from high school... You're a real star.. I see the potential of what you can become, and all I want is what's best for you... for you and all my students. I like seeing your names in papers, and on blogs in the future after you've got on to do greater things.. I don't want to skip out on seeing yours.." He tells me, and my heart catches a bit.

"You think I could make it?" I ask, realizing what he had just said.

"You have more potential than most of the students I see walking in this building.. It's a matter of what you do with that that could make you exceed in this class, and the real world." He tells me, and I take in his words. He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees. "You're going to be a star Marigold." He reaches forward, squeezing my leg, and I can't help but smile at him. "Meet me for coffee... We can talk about this assignment for you, and we can discuss possible internment places." He tells me, and I nod smiling. "Alright now go on, we'll discuss after class." He waves his head, and I move, joining the rest of the students flooding in, and I take my seat, sitting right next to Krys.

Days go by, and Harry has been a bit off but I ignore it, sometimes he gets like this. The thing that confuses me the most is the fact that he's been going out a bit.. Mr. Boring is taking strides and going out to public places. I don't know if he's going alone, or meeting friends, but I never get invited so I think it's option two.

It's odd how it is now. We used to pretty much live the same life. We were in highschool, we went for the same hours, had the same teachers, ate the same lunch. Here it's like we're living in two separate worlds sometimes, and it's kind of confusing to me. It kind of sucks if I'm honest. I'm ready now, grabbing my purse so I can take the train closer to the city to meet with Jenson, and Harry is in the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" He asks, fixing the shirt on his body.

"Meeting with a professor... The real question is, where the hell are you going dressed like that?" I ask as I look to the black button down. There's white lettering on his chest, it's his last name, and the shirt flows into his jeans, meeting a pair of boots. His hair is long, and fresh as it hangs, and he looks incredible.
