A/N: Two updates in 24 hours? Woohoo!
HARRY'S POV:
I didn't learn anything else about what's been bothering her. It's as if it almost disappeared after that day on the pier. We had a good thanksgiving, all of our sisters keeping their mouths shut about Goldie and I's secret relationship. Then before we knew it we were on our way back to the city. I was somewhat relieved. It felt so mundane being back home. Despite seeing my family, there truly wasn't much there for me, and I could tell Goldie felt the same. She's been sleeping more than usual though. I always ended up waking her up around noon, and she never wanted to get up even then. I'm shaking her awake right now, the car parked in the garage, our apartment waiting for us.
"Wake up princess, we're home." I mumble, and her eyes open. She sits up, and turns towards me as I stand outside her side of the car door.
"Carry me or I stay." She demands, and I laugh, shaking my head. I turn my back to her, and bend down, waiting for her to jump on. She does, and I close the door behind us, walking from the garage, and across the street with her on my back. I walk up the front steps, and let her go, leaving it to her to hold on as I unlock the door, and walk straight in. "I missed it here... Home sweet home." She jumps off my back, and spins around with open arms. "Remember Jason is coming by soon... We still have to tell him unless Hunter already has." She mumbles.
"I doubt he has or else Jason would have called one of us freaking out." I smirk, throwing my keys on the counter.
"I am going to go and take a shower, and no you can't come." She announces, but I snake my arm around her waist, pulling her back quickly.
"Not so fast." I mumble. She looks up at me, raising an eyebrow to question me and I smile. I move both of my hands through her hair, tucking it behind her ears on each side, cupping her cheeks. "So pretty." I mumble as I lean down to give her a soft kiss. "Rule number one, can't let you leave without kissing you. Now go on." I let go, and she jumps up, kissing my cheek. "Don't get too wet darling." I give her a smirk, and she turns back as she stands in her door frame peeking over her shoulder as she does.
"Without you? How could I ever." She gives the same grin back, and I shake my head as she walks into her room. Good god I'm so fucking lucky. I hear her shower run, and after some time the door sounds. I go to it, and open it seeing Jason, and another guy with him.
"Hi! Meet Dakota my boyfriend, figured it'd be a good time to introduce him to my other best friends." He smiles at me, and I reach a hand out to the stranger.
"Lovely to meet you." I smile, and open the door to both of them.
"British? Nice, what part of England?" Dakota asks.
"Originally from Cheshire." I smile, and he nods. "Have you been?" I ask as we walk into the apartment.
"Not to Cheshire no... My step dad is from the Oxford area, I visit every Christmas." He tells me, and I nod and raise my eyebrows.
"I like you already.... Hey Goldie! Jason is here, he's got someone he wants you to meet!" I call to her, and she instantly peaks her head from her door with furrowed brows. As soon as she sees him her face flips up in complete excitement.
"Are you Dakota? Please tell me you're Dakota, I've been wanting to meet you! I just realized if you're not Dakota this is going to be a very awkward situation.." She mumbles, walking out in my tshirt, letting it hang down to her legs.
"Yes I am Dakota, and you're the infamous Marigold... I hear a lot about you, all good things." He smiles at her. He's got a nice smile, one of those that makes you feel at ease.
