Chapter 1

PaperJams POV:

    I laid in bed wide awake, I was so excited for the day to begin. It was Saturday after all. I laid there and thought about all the things that I could do once the day started. Fresh and I were supposed to be going to the park today and then back to my place so I could get some "help" on my homework. I didn't need the help, at least not on all of it, but I needed a reason for him to come by.

     I glanced over at my phone, the alarm should have gone off right about now. I grabbed it and pressed the power... nothing. It was probably dead since I was on it all night long texting PaperCut about me and Fresh's "date" today. I sighed and got up to my dresser to plug in my phone, get my clothes, and get ready for the start of the day.

      As I headed out of my room on my way to the bathroom I saw dad making breakfast. The entire house smelled like waffles, warm pancakes, and freshly made coffee. It only smelled a little like burned waffles and pancakes. "MoRniNg PJ." Dad booms with a coffee in one hand and a small container of syrup in the other hand. "Morning dad!" I yell back as I looked at the clock in the kitchen, it was only about 20 minutes till Fresh was going to be here. I panicked, I speed down the hall. As I ran past him I smelled all the freshly made food that was just practically waiting there for me to eat but I had to resist the temptation.

     I jumped into the bathroom to get undressed. The bathroom had a strong smell like men's soap. I put my hand onto the wet shower handle and tuned it on to feel the beating water rain down, I then jolted my hand back out from the icy water. I looked back at my outfit to check if it was good enough for Fresh. I wanted to look good for him after all.

     I got into the shower once the water was hot enough to be filling the room with steam, the ground of the shower slippery with soap and water.

      I washed my body as best I could and used the new soaps I got just for an occasion like this. It smelled like bubblegum, Fresh's favorite. It was more expensive than the rest of them so I hope that the smell stays with me throughout the day. I turned off the shower and hopped out. I brushed my teeth and then I heard someone talking. It was dad and someone else, maybe three people. I got my towel and went to see who it was.
