Chapter thirteen

"Fuck off August!" Virgil says with his arm protectively around me. "Can't you see your making her uncomfortable."

"Im not, Right Maya." August asks but it's more of a statement than a question.

"Uhm..." Is all say, i just can't get the rest of the words out.

"I heard it all, she doesn't want you to fucking touch her hand." He says and lets go of me with one of his hands to shove him away.

"You know nothing." August yells and tries to hit Virgil, but Virgil jumps to the side and lets go of me. Shit why does it always end like this, it's all my fault i should just have held his hand.

"Don't worry i got this." Is all Virgil says before turning back to August. August keeps trying to hit him but Virgil doesn't try to hit him back instead he just dodges all of augustus attacks. Suddenly August pulls out his wand and before Virgil can get his out of his pocket August yells "Expelliarmus!" and Virgil's wand gets thrown out of his hand.

"Fuck i have to do something." I whisper to myself, but before i can begin to think August raises his wand again. But before he gets to do anything i yell "Expelliarmus!" without thinking about it. It was like if my body moved on its own.

August's wand gets thrown out of his hand and a surprised expression appears on his face. I look over at Virgil who has a smirk on his face, he turns to look at me and our eyes meet, but not for long. Virgil sets in a run and grabs my hand on the way, i begin to run with him but damn he's fast and i almost can't keep up with him. We run all the way out of the forbidden section, but as soon as we hear teaches voices we stop.

"Fuck!" Virgil whispers as he starts walking away from the voices as quietly as he can with me behind him. We find a corner where two bookshelves stand close to each other but with an opening so we can stand between them. We walk into the corner and stand as far up of the wall as we possibly can. there's enough space for the two of us and were not as close to each other as last time we were out.

We look out to see if anyone is close to us and we see August walking around with his wand ready, either for if he finds us or something else.

"Do you have your wand?" I whisper to Virgil to make sure he didn't lose it.

"Yeah don't worry i have it." He whispers back and i feel a bit more relieved, now the teachers won't be able to find his wand so that they won't know he was here.

We hear the teachers voices again and once again i feel tense and scared, i have never been caught doing anything wrong before. Virgil notices that i tense up and he loses his hand to intertwine our fingers before holding my hand again. I feel myself calming down a little and and the stress i had get replaced with butterflies in my stomach. And if that wasn't enough i can feel his thumb rubbing small circles on my hand, i give his hand a small squeeze and a blush begins to show on my face.

"August get back here!" We hear a teacher yell and we both hold our breath. We hear continuously talking and footsteps but they become more and more distance, in the end we hear a door close and we step out of our corner without letting go of each other hands.

"Let's get out of here." Virgil says and i nod.

We walk out of the library together hand in hand, and a blush keeps finding its way back on my face every time one of us squeezes the other hand. But everytime i look up at Virgil he has a small blush as well, if only other people knew how soft he is im sure they would like him a lot.

Virgil walks me all the way back to my common room and he said something about not wanting me to get caught, but i have a feeling he just didn't want to let go of my hand. I'm not complaining.

We split up and all of a sudden i feel a little bit lonely once again, maybe i just need sleep. I make my way to my bed when i hear someone whisper.

"So how did it go, Your smile tells me it went well." Daisy whispers from her bed. I take my hand to my face and it turns out she's right, i'm smiling. I didn't even notice, i guess i was too busy holding his hand.

"I'm going to tell you everything tomorrow, right now i just really need to sleep." I say and fall into me bed, i fall asleep almost the second my head touches my pillow but i hear daisy whisper.

"Okay goodnight."

"Goodnight-." I don't get to finish before sleep overtakes me and i disappear into my sleep.
