Chapter twenty four

"Logan!" Virgil yells across the courtyard. Logan turns around with a confused and slightly scared looking his eyes.

Virgil storms through the courtyard and i follow behind him awkwardly. The few other students that are here turn their heads in curiosity.

"Oh hi Virgil, didn't see you there." Logan says as casually as possible.

"Drop it Logan." Virgil says as he stands in front of Logan.

"Whoa, what did i do?" Logan asks and takes a step back.

"What kind of rumors did you spread?" Virgil asks harshly.

"What rumors?" Logan asks confused.

"Don't play stupid, you know what i'm talking about." Virgil says.

"No i dont!" Logan says looking even more confused than before.

"Virgil, i think he's telling the truth." I say softly and put my hand on his arm.

"I am! Listen to your girlfriend." Logan says and takes a step more back,Virgil just glares at him.

"Fine." Virgil says. "You can go Logan."

Logan begins to walk away still looking as confused as before. Maybe even more if that's possible.

"He definitely did something." Virgil says.

"No i don't think so, but i might know who have been spreading rumors." I say.

"What do you mean?" Virgil asks.

"You know samantha right, his sister." I say.

"Oh shit, it could be her." Virgil says and his eyes widen a bit.

"Yeah that's what i'm thinking." I say.

"Let's go find her then, i have something to teach her about spreading rumors." Virgil says.

"Don't be too hard on her, and remember there's still a chance it's not her." I say and bite my lover lip, i don't want anymore trouble.

"Samantha can i talk to you?" I ask, now being the one to start the convention.

"What do you want?" She asks sounding annoyed.

"Me and Virgil just need to talk to you, privately." I say with an unsure smile.

"Whatever, can we do it later." Samantha answers.

"No it has to be now." Virgil says a bit harshly.

"Fine." She says in the same tone as Virgil.

We all walk into the nearest classroom, and it's easy to feel the glares Samantha is giving us. Virgil sits down on a table and i do the same, Samantha sits down on a chair if front of us. Samantha starts looking at her nails and ignoring us.

"So, do you know anything about the rumors going around about me and Maya?" Virgil asks and Samantha's expresion turns shooked for a moment before returning to a glare.

"Why are you asking me?" She asks.

"Answer the question." Virgil says this time calmly.

"No i don't!" Samantha says shapley.

"Then why are you so aggressive?" Virgil asks.

"I just have other stuff to do than sitting here being blamed for something i haven't done, by a rich kid and a mudblood!" She snaps.

"Don't fucking call her that!" Virgil says and stands up pushing the table behind him away.

"Virgil dont." I say softly and look over at Samantha. She's looking slightly scared and surprised about what's happening.

"No! It's not okay that people call you that, i know it hurts you." Virgil says.

"I know, but i'm going to be fine." I say.

"Your right, sorry." He says and sits back down on the table which is now standing weirdly.

"Can i go?" Samantha asks a bit more carefully.

"Whatever." Virgil says and Samantha stands up and leaves. The door shuts behind her and i look back over at Virgil who has an annoyed expression.

"Hey it's going to be fine, you know that right." I say and stand up and walks over in front of Virgil whos still sitting down. I stand between his legs and fiddle with his hair.

"Yeah i know, and i'm sorry i flipped out its just- I know its her, but we don't have proof."He says and looks up at me.

"Yeah it's annoying, but maybe we will get some." I say. "We just have to look out for it."

"Okay, then that's the plan." Virgil says and a small smile appears on his lips.He catches me in looking at his lips, and the blush i have been trying to hide desperately so many times comes back. He chuckles before our lips conect in a sweet and passionate kiss. His arms are around my waist and one of my hands travel back to his hair. Our lips fall in sync and it just feels so natural for us to be so close to each other.

Our lips part for a second for us to catch our breath, but not for long before Virgil connects our lips once again. I give into him and the kiss continues, i wish we could just stay like this forever.

Sadly someone knocks on the door and me and Virgil part from each other faster than you can say butterbeer. The door opens and a few ravenclaw students who look younger than us comes in.

"Oh sorry, we can go somewhere else." One of them says.

"No it's fine we were about to leave." I say and take Virgil's hand, he nods and follows me out the door. The door closes behind us and we both began laughing.

"We are so lucky that was not a teacher." Virgil says.

"Yeah, and i didnt think we could get away from each other that quick." I say.

"Yeah i think we have beaten some kind of record." Virgil says.

"Oh absolutely." I say and we both laugh.
