Chapter twenty two

"You didn't even kiss!" Tori says and i can clearly see the disappointment on her face.

"I don't feel like we needed to." I say.

"But i was so excited to hear about the two of you kissing again." She says and Daisy laughs in agreement.

"The two of you are so chaotic oh my god." I say and laugh as well.

"Isn't it amazing." Tori says.

"I think it is." Daisy says proudly.

"I guess i have to agree." I say and smile.

History of magic really isn't my thing, but at least i only almost fell asleep three times this time. Honestly i really want to do good in this class but it's just impossible.

To my luck class is over a bit early. I leave the classroom together with Daisy and we start walking down the moving stairs. As we just step on to one of them it starts to move, me and Daisy standstill waiting for it to stand still again. I have never been a big fan of these stairs, i just feel uncomfortable every time they begin to move.

When the stair stops moving we step off and onto the cold corridor floor. The door to a classroom in front of us opens and students begin to walk out. Both slytherins and gryffindors from our year a walking out, and one of the slytherins are looking very familiar.

Its Virgil, my official boyfriend. Its so weird to think about that, but it feels so right as well.

"Hey." I say when he sees me as well.

"Hey." He says. "Are you stalking me or?" He asks teasingly.

"No dont worry, the stairs just brought us here." I say.

"Us?" He asks.

"Yeah me and Daisy." I say and look beside me where Daisy was standing a second ago. But now instead of standing besides me i see her walking down the stairs and waving at me.

"Looks like she left." He says.

"Yeah but she's still spying at us." I say and laugh.

"Sounds likely." He says and smiles.

"We have potions together next, right?" I ask but it's less of a question and more of a statement.

"Yeah, wanna walk with me?" He asks with a smirk.

"Absolutely." I say with butterflies in my stomach.

We hold hands as we walk down the stairs and corridors. I can feel people looking at me, but with Virgil by my side everything is going to be okay. Its weird to know that i'm going to get used to this feeling of holding his hand, maybe i will never get used to it and it will be just as amazing every time.

We arrive at the classroom and walk through the door, our hands part when we walk to our tables. A little while after Daisy enters as well.

"Where did you go?" I ask her.

"To Tori." She says looking proud.

"Of course." I say. "And let me guess you told her about us meeting Virgil."

"Yeah, she said it sounded like destiny." She says and smiles.

"Sounds like Tori." I say.

Class starts and we have to make a Herbicide potion, which almost breaks my heart since it kills and harms plants. Daisy grabs my hand and i look over at her, she looks just as sad as me.

"Should we just make it the wrong way so we don't kill a plant?" I whisper to her.

"We could but we also need to keep our grades up." She whispers back.

"Your right." I wisper.

The instructions get told and everyone begins. I go to find the lionfish spines, they are disgusting by the way. I lost in a game of rock, paper scissors with Daisy so i had to go get them. Afterwards i get some har klump juice and return to the table where Daisy already has the rest of the ingredients.

"I don't want to do this." I say.

"Me neither, but we have to." Daisy says.

"Yeah i know." I say and we begin making the potion.

When our mixture is boiling i hear footsteps behind me, i turn around to see Virgil.

"Oh, hey." I say.

"Hey, i just came over to see how you guys are doing." He says. "And apart from that i might just miss you already, i'm not clingy i promise."

"Yeah definitely not clingy, it's not because we just walked here together." I say with a smile. "But i don't mind."

"You guys are too much, im gonna tell Tori everything." Daisy says.

"I'm not even surprised." I say and smile. "Anyways Virgil, don't you have an evil potion to make?"

"Well me and Lucas are done already, but how is it evil?" He asks.

"I kills plants, how can it not be evil?!" I ask and cross my arms.

"I guess that makes sense, you win this one." He says with a soft smile.

"Of course i do, it's evil." I say and can't keep myself from smiling as well.

"Well no matter what, it looks like yours is done." He says and i look back at our potion wich is now the right color.

"Oh your right." I say and turn down the fire.

"So should we just wait until Snape tells us what to do or?" Daisy asks.

"That's what me and Lucas are doing so, yeah." Virgil says.

"Okay thanks." Daisy says.

"Everyone get back to your tables." Snape says.

"And that's my que." Virgil says and tucks a hair behind my ear which makes me smile.

"Bye." I say.

"Bye." He says before leaving our table.

This class hurt my soul so much. We had to test our potion on plants, real alive plants! And we killed them! I'm a murderer!

"You really didn't like that class." Virgil says.

"Noooo, i'm officially a murderer." I say and pout.

"Have you never killed a plant before?" He asks.

"Nooo, they are all still alive." I say. "Well one of my friends sat down on one of them once, but i saved it."

"How is that even possible?" He asks and squeezes my face.

"I don't know." I say but its barely understandable when my cheeks are squeezed together.

"Your so cute." He says and kisses me on my forehead which makes me blush like crazy.

"You missed." I say feeling bold.

"Missed?" He says but it's more of a question.

"Yeah, you kissed me the wrong place." I say.

"Oh, of course." He says with a smirk before he places a small kiss on my nose.

"Nooo." I say and he laughs.

He puts his hand on my face and brings me closer, our lips meet in a sweet and small kiss. His lips are soft and nice, but i only get to feel them on mine for a little bit before they part again. We both smile at each other like idiots and i let a small giggle out.

"Now come on, we don't want to be late for dinner." Virgil says and i nod.

Our hands find each other and we start walking towards the great hall.
