Flowerpot - Slytherpuff Story

Chapter four

"He did what?! Oh i'm so gonna murder him." Tori says loudly outside of the gryffindor common room.

"No you really don't have to do that, i don't want you to get in trouble on your 4th day." I say holding her arm so she doesn't run off to find him. "But your really such a good friend, and you too Daisy." I say taking them both into a big hug. "I love you guys.

"I love you too." They say at the same time.

"Now come on, let's go eat supper." Tori says and takes my hand. We walk to the great hall and split up to go sit at our tables. The food here is always amazing but im just not feeling that hungry after what happened today. Daisy understands and she doesn't ask too many questions about me not eating.We finish our food and meet Toru just outside the great hall in the corridors. We walk together when Daisy sees three guys not far in front of us and grabs Toris arm. Tori walks over to them anyway and we have to run after her to try and stop her. But the thing is that when Tori decides to do something, there's no stopping her.

"Hey dickface!" She yells as she walks over to the three boys. Its Virgil, Lucas and that last guy i don't know the name of.

"Tori dont." I say but she ignores me.

"your talking to me?" The guy asks. "Do you know who i am?"

"I don't care who the fuck you are, what makes you think you have the right to call my friend horrible names?" She says standing only a few centimeters away from him.

"Im Hugo Purkiss and you have no right to talk to me like that." He says and pushes her away. But tori stands her ground and only takes a few steps back.

"Knock it off Hugo." Virgil says grabbing his shoulder trying to get him away from us, while Lucas just stands there looking confused.

"Tori come on you don't have to do this, i'm fine." I say making my way to her and grabbing her hand.

"Come on Maya don't people treat you like that, and i care too much about you to stand and watch as this idiot treats you like that." She says squeezing my hand, but just as she finishes her sentence we hear a bam and we look up. And there virgil is holding a hand to his eye, and hugo is holding up his hand in a fist.

"Don't tell me what to do!" He shouts and pulls up his wand.

"Daisy get a teacher!" Tori says and Daisy sets off in a run back through the corridors to the great hall.

Hugo Turns back around and points his wand at me. "This is your fault mudblood." He says his voice a bit more calm than before. "Everte Statum" He yells with a look in his eyes that tells me this is going to hurt. I get thrown backwards and into a wall, and then fall to the floor. Hugo just has a smirk on his face and looks satisfied.

"Who's next?" He yells, but before anything happens professor Snape appears.

"Stop it. Hugo, Lucas and Virgil come with me. Girls take Maya to Madam Pomfrey immediately."

I wake up from a nap in one of the beds in the hospital wing, but as i look beside me i see that i'm not alone. Virgil is sitting on a chair right beside my bed reading a book.

"Hey?" I say feeling kind of confused. "Why are you here?" I ask and try to sit up but i immediately feel pain in my back. "Argh" I say and lean up against my pillow trying to get comfortable.

"Be careful." He says looking worried. "And to answer you question i'm here to apologize about hugo, i'm really sorry he freaked out like that he has some anger issues. Not because that makes it anymore okay."

"It's okay." I say looking down and fidgeting with my ring.

"No its not, he shouldn't call you those things and he got you hurt, i'm really sorry."

"You don't have to apologize you did nothing wrong." I say giving him a careful smile.

"But i could at least have stopped him." He says with a sad look in his eyes.

"I wouldn't have known what to do, so don't blame yourself. And it's really sweet of you to come here so if you did need to apologize that would make up for it." I say and this time he smiles back. His smile is adorable and changes his look completely from looking intimidating to soft and careful. I blush but quickly look down hoping he won't see it.

"I'm going to leave now so you can rest, goodbye." He says and stands up from his chair. I look up at him again and say "Goodbye, thanks again." I didn't know what else to say, but i wanted to say something special to him to make him remember me, but before i know it he's gone and i'm alone again.

While i'm here my friends come visit me at least one everyday for 3 days, and then im let out. Virgil doesn't come to visit again, not that he has to, but i guess i secretly kind of want to see him again.
