Chapter eighteen

My eyelids are heavy when i wake up. I mostly just want to lay back down and sleep but i know i have to get up. I look over at my night table where Virgil's scarf is lying. A small smile appears on my face from just the thought of him. Honestly i can't wait to see him again even tho i saw him just yesterday.

I get out of bed and put on my cloths and water my plants. I put up my hair in a cute bun and go to meet up with Daisy.

"Good morning." I say when i see her.

"Good morning." She says as well.

We walk to the great hall and get our breakfast, but i'm not really feeling hungry today. I don't really know why but today my stomach is already full,not of food but butterflies instead. I managed to eat a bit of food before we have to go to potions class.

When we walk into the classroom Virgil and some other students are already there. Daisy raises one eyebrow at me when she sees how we smile at each other, i wish i could raise only one eyebrow as well. She tried to teach me how to do it once but i failed miserably.

"Go on, he's waiting on you." She says and pushes me his way.

"It's almost like if your trying to get rid of me." I say jokingly.

"Never, know get going." She says.

"Fine." I say with a smile and walk over to Virgil and Lucas's table. Lucas is laying with his head on the table probably sleeping, or maybe he's dead. Virgil's just smiling at me when he sees me walking over to him.

"Hey." He says. "So when am i getting my scarf back?" He asks with a grin.

"Never." I say with an innocent smile.

"Oh come on, i'm gonna be cold without it." He says.

"It's spring soon." I say.

"Damn your good at this game." He says with a chuckle.

"It's my specialty." I say with a small laugh.

"Okay how about a trade? I will bring you something else and i get my scarf back?" He asks.

"Oh i like this, you got yourself a deal." I say and smile, our eyes meet and all the butterflies in my stomach return to me.

"Everyone get back now, class is starting." Snape says and people start returning to their seats.

"Go sit down before you get in trouble, i did promise to try and keep you out of detention right." He says.

"Yeah you did, talk to you later." I say and go to sit down besides Daisy.

"The two of you should just kiss already." She says and smiles. "He's definitely falling for you."

"Oh shut up." I say but i can't stop smiling, i do wish to kiss him a some point but i'm scared as well. I have never kissed anyone and im scared i bad at it.

As the time passes by and class gets closer to the end, me and virgil have been getting eye contact at the most random moments. Everytime it happens i feel like melting and my mind gets all foggy, luckily daisy doesn't get annoyed and just snapes me out of my daydream everytime. She's honestly the best friend anyone could ask for, together with Tori of course.

Class officially ends and Virgil walks over to me while i'm packing my things down.

"I have a free class right now, how about you?" He asks.

"Oh sorry, i have class." I say feeling bad.

"I thought we talked about all the apologising." He says. "It's not your fault you have class, i will just see you at lunch." He says.

"Okay, see you then." I say before we split up.

"They should just fuck already." Tori says as were walking to the great hall.

"I know right! But they haven't even kissed yet so they should do that first." Daisy says.

"Potato-potato." She just says and Daisy laughs loudly.

"Oh my god, the two of you are too much." I say and smile.

"Oh trust me, we know." Tori says with a grin.

"Yeah that's kinda the point." Daisy says.

"Remind me why i'm friends with you guys?" I say with a smile.

"You love us." Daisy says.

"You got a good point." I say and laugh.

"What are we laughing about?" Virgil interoups us.

"Oh nothing important." Tori says while Daisy looks like she's about to explode from laughter. "Come on Daisy we have stuff to do." Tori says and the two of them leave.

"I'm sorry about them." i say, but i'm not really sorry.

"They seem fun." He just says.

"Oh trust me they are." I say and smile.

"Anyways i brought my trade." Virgil says with a smirk.

"Oh well let me see." I say unpationtly. He takes a ring out of his bag and places it in my hand. I look at it closely to see that it's a snake that goes around in circles.

"I used to wear it in my rebelion phace." He says with a small chuckle.

"It's so pretty." I say quietly while i study the ring. I put it on my middle finger and it fits perfectly. "Now i can flip people off with style." I say and Virgil laughs.

"So am i getting back my scarf?" He asks.

"Yeah, you got yourself a deal. i'm gonna bring it to the next class we have together." I say and smile looking up at him.

"Great." He says and his green eyes soften.

"Holy shit did he propose or something?!?" Tori says a bit too loud.

"What the fuck noooooo!" I say a bit more quietly. "It's just so he can get his scarf back." I say and Daisy laughs while listening to our convention.

"Whatever just invite me to the wedding, i wanna be a bridesmaid." Tori says dramatically.

"Hey, i wanna be a bridesmaid too." Daisy says.

"Again i'm not getting married." I say but cant hold my laughter back.

"Whatever you say." Tori says now laughing as well.

"I hate you guys." I say jokingly.

"Sure." Tori says while Daisy is dying of laughter.
