Chapter twenty seven

"So what now?" I ask and lean on the wall.

"I kinda feel like we need to do something, it feels weird to just leave it like this." Virgil says with an unsure expression.

"Personally i'm fine with just ending the rumor drama here, but if you want we can do something more." I say. "What were you thinking?"

"I don't know, i was about to ask you." He says and smiles.

"Well i don't know either." I say and giggle.

"This is some good teamwork i must say." Virgil says sarcastically and i laugh.

"I agree." I say. "So how about we just think about it some more, it's getting late anyways so we can talk tomorrow."

"That a good idea, goodnight then." He says and stands in front of me.

"Goodnight and sleep tight." I say and smile. Virgil leans in and our lips meet in a sweet kiss. Virgil presses me slightly against the wall before we split up.

"Night." He says and takes a step back, a wink that kinda makes me cringe appears on his face before he leaves.

"Night." I whisper as he's already out of sight. I walk to the common room and see that Daisy is still up.

"Hey Maya, where have you been?" She asks casually.

"Out with Virgil." I answer.

"Ohhhhhh." She says teasingly as i sit down on the couch beside her.

"Oh shut up, you're getting too much time alone with Tori." I say and laugh, Daisy laughs as well.

"And your spending time with Virgil." She says.

"Yeah sorry." I say.

"No no it's fine, your spending time with all of us so no problem. Were just happy you haven't forgotten us." She says.

"Never!" I say and hug her.

"Come on let's go to bed." She says.

"Yeah okay." I say and we stand up to get ready.

"That's the end of class for today." Mcgonagle says. "Remember to do your homework."

"Not gonna happen." I hear a student behind me whisper and i slightly giggle.

I leave the classroom to meet up with Virgil again to talk, im kinda nervous about it tho.

"Hey." I say as i approach him.

"Hey." He says casually and looks in my direction.

"So have you thought of something?" I ask.

"Yeah i have." He says. "I was thinking that maybe we should just go with your idea."

"Really." I say feeling a bit surprised.

"Yeah, i think it's time we try your way." He says. "So what do you want to do Maya?" He asks.

"Oh well, i thought we should just let it go, mabey report it to a teacher so she can at least get detention." I say and smile nervously.

"That's very different from what i usually do." He says and chuckles."But sure, anything for you right." He says and my usual blush returns to my face.

"Oh god, i guess we're already back to the usual." I say and smile.

"Is that a good thing?" He asks.

"Yeah." I say and Virgil smiles as well.

"But if Samantha or Kyle or any oner idiot does anything else to piss me off, i'm going to- i don't even know." He says and cracks his knuckles

"Sure, i let you decide next time." I say and reach up to squish his face which has now turned serious, but he cant help to smile when his cheeks get squished together.

"Oh stop it." He says and removes my hand so that he has my wrists im his.

"Heyy, let me go." I say and try and free my wrists from his hands.

"Nope, not going to happen." He says and keeps smiling.

"Urgh." I say and lay my head back, i can hear Virgil laugh and i look back up again.

"Your cute." He says as if it's the easiest thing for him to say.

"Stoop, i can even run away when you compliment me now." I laugh and shake my hands.

"Yeah it's great." He laughs as well.

"Can you let go now before i lose all blood in my hands?" I ask.

"Oh yeah, of course." He says and lets go. "I didn't mean to hurt you, sorry." He says and i almost feel bad for what i'm about to do.

"Just kidding it didn't really hurt, but im free now byeeee." I say before setting in a run down the corridor.

"Oh you're so dead." He says and i can hear the smile in his voice, he sets in a run and starts chasing me. I try my best to hold my laugh back but fail, do you know how hard it is to run and laugh at the same time? It's really hard.

Virgil catches up to me quickly, his legs are longer than mine so it was unfair anyways. Or something like that. He put his arm around my waist and picks me up, a small almost scream escapes my lips and i giggle.

"Aren't i too heavy for you." I ask as he still havent put me down.

"Nah." He replies.

"But my belly fat." I say quietly.

"Doesn't matter." He says and put me down, just to spin me around so i look at him.

"What?" I ask carefully, but before i get to say anything else a pair of soft lips are placed on mine, not that i mind. But the kiss is short, sadly for me.

"I don't care about you belly fat." He mumbles as he pulls away.

"Your too sweet." I say and smile.

"Only when it's you." He says and the butterflies in my stomach return.

"You going to kill me with all of those comments." I say and place my hand oh his chest to push him slightly.

"I don't want to kill you, but it's fun to tease." He says.

"Yeah, i have noticed that." I say. "But i don't mind."

"Good, cause i'm not gonna stop." He says and i laugh.

"Should we find the others, i know Daisy and Tori are dying to know what is happening." I say.

"Yeah, lets do that." He says and takes my hand. "Lets go."
