Novelist Dean Koontz is known for his works consisting of scary, mystery and thriller contents, but he's never known as a Futurist. Not until, his fans dug up their old copies of Koontz's 1981 novel, "The Eyes of Darkness" and found a passages where he writes about a virus called Wuhan-400 developed in a Bio lab in Wuhan, China.

There are many similar things happening today that is written in that 1981 Novel.
One passage there stated the Following:

    “They call the stuff “Wuhan-400” because it was developed at their RDNA labs outside of the city of Wuhan, and it was the four-hundredth viable strain of man-made organisms created at that research center.”

Is it ringing the Bell? Or something similar?
The Eyes of Darkness is about a mother searching to find out if her son really died a year before or if he is still alive. On his quest, he discovered the existence of this "Perfect Weapon" called the Wuhan - 400.

Why is it a Perfect weapon?

“It afflicts only human beings. No other living creature can carry it. And like syphilis, Wuhan-400 can’t survive outside a living body for longer than a minute, which means it can’t permanently contaminate objects or entire places the way anthrax and other virulent microorganisms can.”

Is sound like similar to the COVID-19 today? This passages were also high lighted and tweeted by @Darren of Plymouth and was taken by The South China Morning Post and the Taiwan News which looks for maybe some clues and puzzle pieces about this deadly spreading virus.

The Novel said that this virus was created by man (Biological Weapon) and was accidently release in one of their laboratories which quickly spread and infected alot of people.
And there is another one thrilling thing about the novel, Dean Koontz published it under a pseudonym "Leigh Nichols". The hardback copy of the book clearly states that the name of this virus is Wuhan 400 until it was published in Paperback in which some changes happens. The name of the virus was changed to Gorki-400 and the place it originated is not China anymore but a small town in Russia. Hmmmm, Why did this Happen?

Is there something sinister/mystery lurking behind this novel? Is it really a sign or a prediction that a virus will came out? Especially that some sources said that the timeline where the virus was released in that novel is 2019-2020?
Hmmmm. I dont know. Any thoughts about it?
