"Why, babe? You don't like it?" Lu Han asks as he takes the plate Sehun has pushed to his side of the table.

Sehun huffs and looks at Lu Han with deep frown. "It tastes like garbage," Sehun states, crossing his arms over his chest and looking away. "Cook me something else, alpha."

Lu Han swallows, looking at the five other dishes he has already cooked today. He purses his lips and breathes deeply to calm himself. "Are you sure, Sehun?" he whispers.

Sehun lips twitch before he snaps his eyes back at Lu Han. "Do I look like I'm not sure, hyung?" he sasses.

Lu Han bites his lip to stifle a disapproving growl, before he nods and pushes his chair to stand up. "Okay. Wait here."

His own stomach grumbles with his hunger but he only pats his tummy and sets up the stove.

"I changed my mind. I'll cook," Sehun states, and Lu Han feels him walking closer, causing him to turn to the omega with wide eyes.

"Sehun, you just sit there," Lu Han says, grabbing Sehun's forearm before the omega gets to touch anything in the kitchen. "I'll do it."

A frown forms in Sehun's features, before he lets out a loud whine. "Hyung~! I said I'll cook~"

"Babe," Lu Han breathes out, grabbing Sehun's arms and turning him around, walking him back to the dining table. "I'll do it," he repeats, sitting Sehun down and patting his head. "Like this. Stay there and alpha will take care of you."

Sehun pouts, before he places a hand on the table, seemingly getting nauseous as seen on his droopy eyes, and Lu Han quickly takes to spilling his alpha pheromones in the air to make Sehun feel better.

This doesn't work though, as Sehun looks up at Lu Han in shock before clasping his mouth, a gagging sound coming from his throat.

Oh shit, sorry, babe.

Lu Han blinks once as Sehun runs to the sink, standing frozen and not knowing what to do as he hears Sehun throwing up behind him.

His gaze wavers as he hesitatingly turns, watching with loosely-clenched fists as he bites on his lower lip.

He suddenly remembers his conversation with Yixing in Canada when the latter was still pregnant.

"Oh, yes, right! You love him. You love each other and are happy to have met each other again! Right?"

Lu Han smiles softly at Yixing and nods. "Yeah, he makes me happy.. When I see him, I'm really happy. I love Sehun."

Yixing nods happily. "And he loves you. You two are such a cute couple."

Lu Han laughs softly in adoration of the idea. "Thank you," he says, warmth spreading in his heart. "Actually, I'm planning to.. ask him.. if we can start a family.. I think I'm ready to take that next step with him."

"Oh, I'm so happy for the both of you!" Yixing keens. "Go ask him, okay? Then just.. go at his pace! He's the one who's gonna carry your child so, I think it's reasonable, right?"

"Yes! That's what I think, too!" Lu Han exclaims, excitement filling his heart. "I can definitely wait. But I'm still excited about it anyway," Lu Han laughs at himself.

This silly love..

Lu Han staggers, blinking his gaze away from Sehun.

Was I really ready?

Why am I getting scared then?

Why am I nervous?
