Sehun cracks his knuckles, jaw tightening with anger as the memories of Nux return to him.

"Lennux!" Sehun called, the paper envelope almost falling from his mouth as he ran, but she thankfully stopped in time.

"Yeah?"

Sehun giggled, pulling the letter from in between his lips to hand it to her. "I'm envious of all you guys meeting your mates already. All that's left is the courting..."

"But I don't like him," she retorted, reluctantly receiving the envelope. "And please just call me Nux. I hate, hate, hate having the same name as that omega prince," she stated with so much emphasis. "He's just an omega. I'm a beta."

Sehun made a face, crossing his arms over his chest. "Fine. Nux."

"That's better," she whispered, and a familiar smile formed in her face, before she stepped closer to hold both of his wrists. "I like how my name rolls off your tongue."

"Ew, no." Sehun scowled, pushing Nux away and frowning. "But hey, you're literally the omega princess' cousin. Why do you hate her so much?"

Nux huffed. "Yes. A cousin with the same fucking name and more than a hundred fifty years of age gap? And an omega? Why do you think of him as a girl anyway? Lennux is obviously a boy's name."

"Well, you have it and you're a girl," Sehun pointed out, rubbing his palms against his slacks to show outright rejection.

She's been making these weird moves and also inappropriate jokes on him for months now, but a shy Sehun just couldn't find a way to turn her down without being rude or acting playful.

Because she was a good friend, or so Sehun thought.

But that impression changed the day Nux spread rumors of Sehun fucking around with alphas (who have already met their own omegas which were actually Sehun's friends he still chats with today), a move that easily backfired to her and made Sehun even more popular than he already was.

Nux left their school after that, and Sehun couldn't care less about what became of her status as the omega princess' cousin.

Sehun's anger slowly dissipates, and he leans closer to observe Lu Han's face, a smile forming in his face as his heart get full with pride.
