Jongdae thinks twice on his decision once again as he walks towards where Minseok said he'll be hunting with Lu Han.

Jongdae has the urge to turn around, forget the plan of showing up there and joining the hunting, or maybe asking Minseok to come home, because he feels that there's something about this that he thinks he'll just regret.

Today is September 21. Today is Jongdae's birthday. And Minseok hasn't spoken a word about it since they woke up.

Jongdae is getting closer now to where the two alphas are without himself knowing as he's immersed in his own thoughts.

Minseok went out of their house with a box in hand, and that makes this day a weird day.

What werewolf needs a medium-sized box while hunting?

Jongdae is conflicted on whether he should be excited about that, because the last time he got excited about something, it had turned out that it wasn't going to go as he likes.

And this, this doesn't look like something he'll want to hear.

Jongdae's steps falter when he hears through werewolf hearing Minseok and Lu Han conversing from somewhere a bit far from where he is.

"So this is that day. And because I know it's memorable for you, I brought you this."

Jongdae blinks and frowns. This day?

Minseok alpha, today is my birthday. Did you forget?

"Uh, I really won't call it that. It's not like I was happy when it happened anyway," Lu Han answers.

"It's still memorable though.."

Jongdae hears Lu Han scoff.

"So losing the chance to be your mate is memorable?"

Jongdae steps back quickly, his breath hitching at what he just heard.

'What is this? What are they talking about?!' Jongdae questions himself.

"Lu Han," Minseok states. "Stop it."

"I'm sorry but that's what made me remember this day. I was crying when I realized I turned into an alpha, because it was the worst thing."

"Lu Han."

"You are the one who'll be the alpha pack leader anyway.. Why did I have to become an alpha? I should've just turned into an omega and made it possible to have you. It's not like Jongdae would accept you. That's what I thought. I loved you that much. Sehun was nothing. Even after he came back, it was all you."

Jongdae doesn't hear Minseok answer to that.

How.. How come he didn't know Lu Han enough? He knew Lu Han and Minseok were a thing but why does he not know about this part of the story?

And this day, this day is his birthday.

Is that why Minseok doesn't remember? Is it because he recalls this as Lu Han's day?

Wow.

Jongdae clenches his fists and grits his teeth. What is this? Is this Lu Han trying to take Minseok away?
