"It's expected that he'll be giving birth within the next four days," Lu Han informs as he sits down at a vacant chair, casting a concerned gaze at Junmyeon, who quickly turns his head to him. "I'm afraid you have to stay out of the entire location for about that time as well, for Yixing's safety."

Junmyeon intakes a sharp breath, nodding in understanding before licking his lips and leaning in. "Lu Han, can you.. Can you make sure he gives birth and survives? Is there a way?"

Lu Han blinks slowly and looks down, putting his lips together and shaking his head 'no'. "I'm-I'm sorry."

Lu Han can feel the stares, and he bites his lips as he aimlessly looks around, before he feels Minseok's comforting hand on his thigh.

Rather than helping him calm down, Minseok's touch just makes Lu Han nervous, and so he blurts out, "I can't do that, I'm—I-I apologize."

"It's okay.." Junmyeon mutters. "You've done everything you could for Yixing until now."

Lu Han keeps his gaze distant as he brings his hands together and looks over to the far room where Yixing is. "I hope he can do it," Lu Han whispers absentmindedly. "But he's in critical condition. If we didn't have a hybrid in our union, he won't be alive today. We all know his wounds don't heal. There's only a small chance he'll survive if he keeps on gaining injuries and suffering from blood loss."

"I'm holding on to any small chance," Junmyeon retorts, biting on the inside of his cheek and heaving a breath to try and muster his own courage to face this. "S-So please do all that you can for him. He needs you."

Lu Han breath hitches as he hears Junmyeon's last sentence. The pressure just heightens when he's reminded that it's only him who can be able to help Yixing in giving birth, and consequently, in surviving it.

So Lu Han can't imagine how he will feel, and how Junmyeon will feel, if he fails in keeping this omega safe.

"I-I'll do all that I can.. I just hope I'm capable of it."

"Poor Sehunnie~" Baekhyun coos, rubbing Sehun's thigh to soothe him. "It's okay. It's alright to feel like that. It's been several days, and those days were when you had your heat. He's supposed to attend to it, so I understand why you feel like that."

Sehun closes his eyes and leans his chin on Baekhyun's shoulder, before looking up at Jongdae who's across him and keeping his head down.

"Jongdae hyung," Sehun whispers, raising a grabby hand at his fellow omega. Jongdae looks up from the couch with tears brimming his eyes.

"Sehun," Jongdae replies, before he himself wraps his arms around Sehun and Baekhyun. "Missing your mate is so painful... for an omega," Jongdae shares. "It hurts so much..."

Jongdae leaves a lot of words unsaid, as he takes the pain in his own heart alone.

"I really need to distract you two even a little," Baekhyun says as he parts from the hug, causing Jongdae to do so, too.

Baekhyun looks at Sehun with concern, before he smiles sadly, unconsciously letting out a certain scent of what Sehun smells as a need to protect.

It makes Sehun dizzy though.

Sehun winces a bit and pauses to analyze himself, before he ends up ripping himself from the other two to run to the bathroom.

Baekhyun blinks in confusion before averting his gaze towards Jongdae. "What just happened?"
