Lu Han is woken up by the unsettling feelings seeping into the bond, but he can only blink his eyes heavily once before having to shut his eyelids again.

He lets out a deep breath.

Why does he feel like he's bleeding or injured?

Lu Han frowns at the numb sensation in his chest, wanting to raise his hand to press into it but stopping as soon as he feels the ache in his fingers.

Lu Han turns his head to the side, furrowing his eyebrows.

So tired..

Where's Sehun?

Lu Han reaches out to try and find his omega, but none of Sehun touches his fingers, which makes him remember that Sehun is sharing his upset emotions in their bond.

He eventually notices that Sehun is feeling sad.

Lu Han shuts his heavy eyelids in fatigue before turning his head to the other side, until he hears the sound of the door getting opened.

He is about to assess who it is by smelling the scent when he suddenly gets (positively) bombarded by omega vanilla as someone envelops him in an embrace.

Sehun's shirt feels soft against Lu Han's skin, and Lu Han presses his forearms into the bed, wanting to hug Sehun back.

Lu Han frowns in sympathy as he hears and feels Sehun crying against his neck, and he looks down at Sehun.

"My precious omega, don't cry anymore..."

Lu Han hears a small gasp, and he smiles weakly as Sehun parts from him, the omega's swollen eyes wide with surprise.

"Babe," Lu Han mutters, meeting Sehun's gaze as he lets his hands slip down and lifelessly fall on the bed, causing him to wince as this makes it clear that some of his finger bones are still fractured.

"Lu.. Han," Sehun trails off, eyebrows knitting together slowly as if he's trying to convince himself that what he's seeing is real.

"Yes, it's me," Lu Han whispers, chuckling lightly. "Gem of my life."

Sehun bites his lower lip as he looks at Lu Han in contemplation. "Alpha.."

"Yeah, that's also me," Lu Han mutters, smiling as he forces his hand to be able to cup Sehun's face gently. "I'm your alpha."

Sehun breathes out a sob and holds Lu Han's wrist. "You're awake..."

"I am," Lu Han says, staring into Sehun's wide eyes, before frowning at the urge to wipe the tears that soak his lover's cheeks. "Who made my omega cry?"

Sehun sniffles, and his pout only gets worse while he wipes his face with his fingers, looking down. "N-No one, alpha..."

Lu Han frowns as one good sniff makes it clear that Sehun must be lying. "Did Minseok make you cry?"

Sehun snaps his gaze back to Lu Han at this.

"Hm? What did he do to you?"
