'WRONG NUMBER'

chapter twenty-four

after finally getting home after a somewhat long drive i was laying back in my own bed again. i didn't want to unpack just yet because i was tired.

so i took a little nap and chilled for a little after i woke up. after that i started to unpack all of my things. i didn't fully put some stuff away just because i was going to be packing it all back up in a couple of days. i didn't really know what to do because my parents were going to be out of town until tomorrow and paige was sleeping over at a friends house. so i was alone.

i texted daniel to see if he could facetime so i could tell him the good news. he said he could facetime but only for a little bit. i hit the facetime app icon and hit his name. he answered almost immediately.

"i miss youuuu." he said as i saw his face.

"i know, i miss you too. but we'll be able to see each other in a couple days." i say with a big smile on my face.

daniel=confused

"how i'll be on tour and you'll be at ho- you're parents said yes!?" he says getting super excited.

"yes!" i say with a big smile, and daniel jumps up.

"i have to go tell my manager! he's in the room next to me. " daniel says running out of his room, and he comes back in a couple minutes later.

"i'm so excited! i can't wait to see you again." he says happily.

"i can't wait to see you again too. and this time we'll get to spend a lot more time together." i say/

"yeah not just a day," daniel says, "ok well i have to go. i'll text you tomorrow if i can talk." he says after a couple of seconds.

"ok. see you later." i say.

"bye. i love y-"

is all i hear him say before the facetime ends. wait. did daniel just say i love you? noooo. i probably just heard him wrong.

daniel's pov

shit. did i just say i love you? ughhhh, i think i did. that's bad, well i don't mean it's bad. i do mean it. i do love lexi. it's just i don't think she is ready. maybe she didn't hear me, let's just hope that.

"daniel!" jon yells.

i get up and walk back to see what my manager wanted.

lexi's pov

i jump up the next morning to see gemma still peacefully sleeping next to me. after me and daniel stopped talking i asked gemma if she wanted to go out to dinner.

we went to a diner that we go to all the time. she ended up sleeping over after.

the next morning

i head downstairs to go make breakfast for us. i made us some eggs and bacon. i was putting the food on plates as i saw gemma walking down the stairs.

"morning." i say.

"good morning." she replies. "ohhhh you made breakfast." she says happily.

"yes." i say with a smile.

we both then sit down and start to eat.

once we are done i do the dishes. me and gemma go back in my room and we chill in there for a little. gemma then gets a text from her parents saying that she needs to be home. so she starts grabbing the things she brought.

she then left, leaving me alone in the house again. i decided to start packing because i was leaving tomorrow night. daniel had texted me with some more information on things to bring and not to bring too many clothes because there isn't a lot of space judging that it is a bus. i tried to pack on the lighter side but it was hard.

i ened up actually getting all of my clothes into one suitcase. i just had an extra bag with other things i might need and toiletries. i stood my suitcase up and pushed it to the side so that it wasn't cluttering up my room.

it was about an hour later and i was still home alone. i decided to go to the gym because i hadn't been there in a while. i changed into workout clothes, grabbed my earbuds, and filled a bottle with water.

i then went to the gym. i stayed and worked out for about an hour and half.

when i got home my parents still weren't home. but when i did open the door i saw paige sitting in the living room watching tv. i went up to my room and took a shower.

later that night i made dinner for me and paige. we hung out for the rest of the night because i was gonna be gone for a while after tomorrow so we wanted to spend some time together. surprising actually because we don't get along all the time.

my parents had finally gotten home around 9:00pm. after they got home i went up to my room and got ready for bed. i turned my phone on and went on different social media's. after that i shut my phone off and closed my eyes.
