i woke up the next morning and daniel wasn't next to me anymore. all of the memories from last night came flooding back in. the bathroom door then opened and daniel came out with just a towel wrapped around his waist.
"good morning sleepyhead." he says smiling.
"morning." i say , smiling back at him.
"we have to be out in forty-five minutes." he tells me.
"ok." i reply.
i then get up rather quickly to start getting ready for the day and so i can pack my stuff up. i didn't have time to get in the shower so i just put my hair up into a messy bun and then get dressed.

when i'm done getting ready i exit the bathroom and start to get my other things together. i then realized that i never told paige about last night i grabbed my phone and then called her.
"why aren't you home?" paige says, confused.
"that's what i was calling you about." i say to her.
PAIGE: "explain." she says.
"daniel didn't cheat. that was his cousin. she makes jewelry. and she made a promise ring for daniel to give it to me." i explain to her.
"mhm. just his cousin." she says sarcastically.
"paige, come on he gave me proof." i tell her.
"what kind of proof?" she asks.
"pictures and text messages. and he even called his parents so they would tell me that it was just his cousin. I wouldn't have believed him that easily. i made him give me proof." i tell her.
"fine. but i'm still beating him the next time i see him." she says.
"that's a little harsh." i tell her.
"i know." she says.
"i know i'm saying this again, but please don't tell mom. i don't want her getting worked up." i say to her.
"i know." paige says.
"ok, well i have to go. love ya. byeeee." i tell her.
