'WRONG NUMBER'

chapter thirty-seven

daniel's pov

surprisingly, they said yes. well, it took a lot of convincing to get randy on board, but jon was on board right away.

they thought i was a good idea, so that i could clear things up for myself. that was probably the only reason randy had said yes, just to clear my image.

later that day

i didn't tell lexi the news right away. i wanted to wait a little. we were still about three hours from kansas city, which was were our next show was. since it was a pretty long drive and we wouldn't be getting there until late tonight, and we were staying at a hotel.

lexi was chilling in her bunk and i think she was on facetime with gemma. she was talking about youtube and all. which made me smile.

i always watch her videos as a soon as they come out. a little bit later i heard her stopping talking so i assumed that she had ended the call.

"hey." i say as i move her curtain to her bunk over a little.

"hey." she says with a smile.

"i have something to tell you." i say to her.

"what is it?" she asks.

"we can go sit in the back, it will be more quiet." i say.

"ok." she says getting out from her bunk and following me to the back.

"so i talked to my managers about an idea that i had." i tell her.

"what is the idea?" she questions.

"that we could go live and just clear things up. we don't have to go into detail or anything, but it would clear things up for me and it would reassure fans that you're ok." i tell her.

"i think that's a good idea." she says.

"really?" i say, shocked that she liked the idea.

"yeah! when would we do it?" she says excitedly.

"we could do it at the hotel later." i suggest.

"sure." she says.

i give her a quick kiss.

"i love you so much." i say with a smile.

"i love you too." she says, returning the smile. "well i'm gonna get back to my bunk. i was gonna start editing a video gemma sent me that we filmed months ago." she says to me.

"alright, i'll let you get back to work." i say.

lexi's pov

i smile and head back to my bunk. i only got to edit for a little because we then stopped for dinner.

after dinner

after dinner we continued on the drive. for the last hour and a half we were all in the main area of the bus talking to each other.

after the very long drive we had finally made it to the hotel. i grabbed the few things that i had still left with me and jon got the keys. everyone else was grabbing their stuff as well.

a little while later me and daniel were chilling in the hotel room. we were talking and trying to figure out what to say and kinda planning it all out.

after finally figuring it all out we had to decide whose phone to go live on. we ended up deciding on daniels because he had more followers, and we could get the message across to more people.

we set his phone up and then both sat up so we could both fit in the frame. he then went on to instagram and went live. we waited a couple of minutes to let more people in.

"hey guys, we just wanted to come on here and clear some things up." daniel said.

"so as most of you guys already know me and daniel are dating." i say.

"which got leaked in a not so nice way, but that's not what we're here to talk about." daniel says.

LEXI: "a couple days ago a video and some pictures started spreading around of daniel at a coffee shop with a girl." i start.

"i just want to make it clear that i didn't cheat. yes i was hugging her, that's because she is my cousin and i haven't seen her in a while. she lives in chicago and we recently had a show there and we met up. it's up to you guys to believe me or not, but all that matters is that lexi believes me.'' daniel says to the people on the live.

"also his cousin makes jewelry and daniel surprised me with a ring she made." i say, showing the camera the gorgeous ring on my finger.

"also my cousin is kinda married soooo, yeah." daniel adds with a little laugh.

"we just wanted to make that clear because daniel was getting hate for something he didn't do, it just looked like he did. trust me when i first saw all of the posts, i believed it, but daniel proved to me that he didn't and now were here." i say, and daniel smiles.

DANIEL: "we are also gonna leave the live up on my story for 24 hours so that people who couldn't make it on can see this." daniel says, "that's really all we wanted to say, so i'll see you guys later. i love you all. byeeee." he continues.

"byeee." i say as daniel ends the live.

"that wasn't too bad." daniel says a couple seconds after he ends the live.

"yeah." i say with a sigh.

a little bit after we ended live we both started getting ready for bed.

about an hour later i was snuggled up to daniel trying to fall asleep.
