Chapter 10

I could not believe that Grant just kissed me. what the hell got into him. I just don't understand, I didn't think he liked me like that. Damn it I am so confused now, but I have to tell Denial now damn!

Wait where the hell is Brooke I can't just leave her here without telling her I am leaving. I went back into the hospital after I had run out and went to look for her. I went to the front desk and asked the lady if she had seen her.

" No the last time I saw her she was in the waiting room to go in, I just got off break so I have no idea" she explained to me.

My eyes got a little wider because even though I can't stand her it worried me that nobody had seen her. I knew she would go drink again if she found out she was. I couldn't have that, she doesn't need alcohol.

I ran around for probably about 15 minutes inside the hospital and then about 10 outside until I came across her sitting on a wall by herself. I looked at her and saw a bottle and blood, but no she couldn't have.

" Brooke!!!!!" I yelled before I finally reached her. She just looked up at me and then back down and mumbled " what? my life is over what do you want?!?!".

" What happened??!?!! why are you doing this you don't need to" I said trying to convince her. I finally figured out what had happened to her arm. She flipped it over and I saw these scratches that look kinda like mine. There was a glass bottle next to her that had been shattered.

She cut herself, I never ever thought she would get to that point. She always made fun of me and my friends for doing it, but look at where she is right now. Just as bad as me. She can't  make fun of me anymore, there is no need she is doing it too.

" I am pregnant, I cant be I just can't it is gonna ruin my life" she began to raise her voice.

" No it won't you are going to be bringning a life into the world, don't you think that is a good thing?" I said with a soothing tone trying to make her calm herself a little bit.

" Yeah, but i am not ready for that responsiblity" she said putting her hands over her face.

" You know what Brooke I have tried to help you, but everytime I do it comes back in my face" I began. " You are going to be a mother so you need to stop being childish and become ready for what is in your future". I paused so I could think of something else to say to make her think.

" Please stop, don't take your own life please don't drink... Have this baby and prove to people that you can do it..." I said and then paused to let it sink in a little bit.

"You are going to hit some rough spots in the road, but I will be there you are becoming like me whether you want to admit it or not... you are no longer that popular bitch" I said.

" Hang with me in school and stuff and we will see where it goes from there" I said with a smile.

She nodded at me and said " Thanks Blaze" and then she handed me the bottle and got up off the ground.

" Okay now go home and text me if you need me" I said and she nodded.

As she was walking away I walked back towards a bench at the front of the hospital. Not only did Brooke have me kinda worried, Grant made me think I was being fucking delusional. I didn't think that Grant felt that way about me. Ugh I am so confused.

I looked back at the doors of the hospital and hesitated before I decided I was going to go back up and talk to him.

" Excuse me" I said to the lady at the front desk.

" Yes" she said as she looked up from her computer.

" Can you tell me if I am allowed to visit my friend Grant right now?" I asked.

" Oh yes you can the test they were doing is done" she replied as she shooed me away.

I walked all the way back up to the 6th floor and then took all the hallways and things. I finally reached his room and took a deep breath before letting myself in.

" Knock Knock" I said as I walked into the room. He just smiled at me and said " Hey there cutie".

Ummmm what the hell is going on I mean I am so confused as it is and now he is calling me cutie, ugh what the fuck.

" Grant I really need to talk to you" I said as I sat down in the chair next to his bed.

" What was that all about earlier?" I asked.

He waited for a while and then gave me that corny smile and said " I don't know". I gave him a look and he finally gave in and told me what his real intentions were.

" Blaze I think you are really great and your so cute, you were just making me crazy I had to do it" he explained.

My expression stayed blank for a few minutes, I could not get over what he was telling me right now. He smiled back at me and said " Blaze are you okay?".

"What? yeah I am fine" I said back to him. I don't know weather I was falling for him or was just in shock. Nobody really knew, but Grant was really cute and I really liked him too. I was just so shocked because no guy really likes me.

" Cutie? yor spaced again... tell me whats wrong" he said trying to be sweet.

" Why me? I didn't think you liked me like that" I asked.

" Your perfect in every single way, Blaze come here" he said as he motioned me to come over next to him. He got up out of bed and he had decent pjs on now because his mom brough him clothes. He was taller than me so when he stood in front of me I had to look up.

He put his hand on my shoulder and rubbed my arms and eventually made his way to my waist. " Blaze you don't have to if you don't want to but I need to do it again" he said with a smile.

" I want you to Grant" I whispered before he moved in.

I felt his hand move around on my waist and finally found a place to settle and then he moved in to kiss me. He went left so I fit in on the right side and finally felt sparks after a few seconds. I moved my hands to neck and evenatually to his hair. I didn't think I was gonna like this, but I love it.

He pulled away and said " Do you want me to stop?". I nodded my head no because I had no words. He went back in for another kiss.

I felt his soft lips pressed against mine and felt him try to get his tongue to enter. I easily let him and felt him lead me into it. He played with my tongue a little and then stopped so I could do the same. It went back and forth for a little while until we really needed air.

When we finally finished kissing he looked into my eyes and said " Blaze I need you, I need you more than I need anything else".

My jaw just dropped I didn't know what to say. I just gave him a stare until I could think of something. He pulled me in for a hug, I guess so that I could figure something else to say. What the hell is going on!?!?
