Chapter 13

Grant's POV

I can't believe that just happened it was so perfect. Since the day I met her I have wanted her to be mine and now she is. The girl of my dreams is soundly sleeping in my bed in my arms and it felt too good to be true.

I glanced down at my baby and she was so beautiful even when she was sleeping. She started to flinch and move a little so I pulled her tighter and she continued to do it. It was starting to worry me.

"baby girl" I whispered into her ear as I nudged her arm. It didn't wake her just made her move and make noises.

"Blaze baby wake up" I said in a concerned tone that wasn't really a whisper anymore. I continued to nudge her until I finally got her to wake up.

" He was going to get me don't let him!" she yelled and started to sob.

" Who was going to get you babe?" I asked with a concerned look on my face.

" My dad" she said back. I grabbed her and pulled her into me.

"It's okay shhhhh it's okay I'm right here" I said trying to soothe her.

I could feel her tears on my skin and her body shake just a little, kind of like a tremble from crying.

I started to rub her back and her hair to keep her calm. I kept saying "shhhhhhh it's okay". Just so she knew that I wasn't going anywhere. I know how hard some things are for her, but she wasn't going to have to face anything alone anymore.

She stopped trembling and I didn't feel anymore tears and her heartbeat evened out, poor baby was sound asleep again. I was kind of like a giant teddy bear to her, which as long as she is happy I don't care about.

I continued to let her sleep, but I didn't. I wasn't really comfy with sleeping after her bad dream. I know that sounds stupid, but I wanna be there for her when something like that happens. So I just watched her sleep and hoped that her dreams were better this time around.

3 hours later...

I must have dozed off while I was watching her because the sound of a black veil brides song woke me up. It was coming from Blaze's cell phone. So I picked it up and it was just a text from Trinity. I put her phone back down and try to wake her as peacefully as possible.

I leaned down and kissed her and her eyes popped right open. "Morning baby" I said to my very sleepy looking girlfriend. She just smiled at me and tried to sit up.

" Morning, how did you sleep?" she asked.

I just nodded and smiled at her to signal that I slept fine and she gave me a funny look like she knew I didn't really sleep all that much.

" Did I wake you up with a nightmare?" she asked with a very sorry look on her face. " It's nothing baby I didn't mind".

Before she could say anything about it I gave her a kiss and held it there. Her lips were so soft against mine and they were warm. Everytime we kissed I smiled in the middle of it and it made her giggle so much. For once in my life I felt like I was doing a good job at something.

I pulled her on top of me and gave her even more kisses and she just continued to giggle and smile back with each kiss. She had her hands in my hair and I had mine on her waist and they were slowly working their way down to her butt. She never stopped me so I kept on my track until I felt I should stop.

We laid in my bed like that for a while and just kissed and were in each other's presence. We didn't really have anything else to do so I just savored the time I got with her.
