"Someone named Ji Eun is calling..."
Jimin was staring at the phone and handed it back to Jungkook who instantly froze in his spot.
He declined the call right away and put the phone on silent mode.
"D-Don't mind this. Let's just sleep together for tonight." Jungkook told him and tapped his side so Jimin climbed up to him.
He put his phone on the bedside table before hugging Jimin lying next to him but since the lights were already off, his phone lit again indicating that there's someone calling.
Jimin noticed the phone.
"Jk, your phone. Answer it first." He whispered to Jungkook, tapping his chest but he's not opening his eyes eventhough he heard Jimin calling him. "If you won't, then I will."
Jungkook moved so fast to get his phone when he heard Jimin said that. He can't let him answer the phone and know that it was actually his ex who's calling.
When he finally reached the phone, his thumb was shaking when he pressed declined but after that, Ji Eun keeps on calling so he answered and decided to just take the call. He excused himself and walk towards near the window.
Meanwhile, Jimin's hawk eyes were staring at him. Confusion was evident to his face. He rested his bareback on the headboard of the bed while waiting for Jungkook to finish.
"Who was that?" Jimin asked when Jungkook came back, sighing before closing the window.
"That was...that was a call from the HR Department." He lied but Jimin furrowed his brows when he heard of that, but he trust Jungkook so much and there's no way he'd think that he was lying on him.
"HR? At this hour? Are they asking you about the Team building?" Jimin innocently asked, crawling back at Jungkook.
"Ah, y-yeah. They're asking me about that."
Jungkook swallowed a lump and continuously nodded. Suddenly, his strange pale eyes couldn't make an eye contact with Jimin who keep on asking him about the call.
"But it's strange, I'm sure they know you strictly don't like to talk about work stuff when it's not working hours." The smaller guy added and hugged the pillow next to him.
"Let's sleep now, okay?" Jungkook said and looked down on Jimin. The smaller guy nodded and smiled before reaching his boyfriend's lips.
"I love you." Jimin mumbled and snuggled his face more against Jungkook's neck before closing his tired eyes. He was waiting for Jungkook's answer to that but few minutes passed, he fell asleep already.
Jungkook bit his lip. It was the second time he actually lied to him like that. First was when Jimin saw Ji Eun's picture at his room and he asked about her. And now, this.
