"Do I really need to go to school Daddy?"

Aki frowned at me while I'm busy fixing his hair and uniform. It's his first day in kindergarten and he's already lazy to go to school because he woke up early in the morning to prepare himself.

We legally adopted Aki after we have finalized the papers. Since we are the most fitted parents for Aki, we didn't have a problem and the adoption was approved by the court easily.

"Aki, you need to go to school to learn new and lot of things." I told him but he just pouted and sigh. "Yah, don't be lazy."

"But I already know how to count from 1 to 1000. Dada taught me." Aki said and sat on the bed to put his socks on. "I'm still sleepy, can I just stay here instead and just go to school tomorrow? Just tell Dada and the teacher I'm sick, it's only a secret between the two of us."

Jimin, who just got out from the bathroom heard what did Aki say.

"It's because you slept late and didn't stop playing your Daddy's phone until the battery died. Now you're complaining that you're sleepy?" Jimin raised his brow before he kicked my leg when he passed by behind me. "I told you not to give your phone to him."

"I'm sorry, okay? He fooled me. He said he will just use it for a short time but I didn't notice it because I fell asleep." I defended myself and help Aki put his shoes on. "Here you go."

I pulled him in front of the mirror and he looked at himself from side to side.

"What is 1 + 1?" I asked him and saw how his shoulder fell from my question.

"That's boring." He shrugged. "Do kindergarten teachers ask boring questions like that Daddy?"

And with his answer, I face palmed myself.

A year before he starts to go to school, Jimin is already teaching him the basics so it won't be hard for him, and since Aki is interested in learning new things specially when Jimin is with him, they always spend time studying, mostly about science trivias. But we're not pressuring him. He's just a kindergarten, after all.

But I doubt if they teach kindergarten about science trivias and shits.

"Dada are you going to school with me?" Aki asked Jimin and jumped on the floor, finally ready to go.

"Yes baby, Daddy and I will take you to school because it's your first day as a school boy." Jimin replied and smiled proudly as he look at him. "Wow look at you, you're a big boy now."

"We can be seatmates!" Aki shouted happily and jumped because of what Jimin said. "You will on the right side and Daddy will sit on the left side. I'm in the middle because I'm your baby."

"Aki, we can't go inside your room because kindergarten's classroom is supposed to be for kids not for parents." Jimin grab Aki's bag on the table and help our son to put it on his back.

I held Aki's hand as we made our way downstairs. I don't know but I'm really excited to go to school with him. Maybe this is what parents really feel when they take their child to school during their first day. Although I didn't have the chance to experience this when I was a child because my dad was always busy with out business, I'm still excited to do this everyday with our child.

I hopped inside the car and Jimin helped Aki put the seatbelt on before hopping on the shotgun seat.

"I told you I'll drop him off to school and you can go to the company first." Jimin sneered at me before reaching for the radio and turning the volume up. "We'll be late."
