My spellcheck is majorly glitching so please point out any mistakes!
It's been a couple of days since I found out I'm going to college. The excitement isn't as intense anymore, but it's still there.
It's currently the beginning of March, but I don't start until August, so I have plenty of time.
Plenty of time to tell Harry... right?
Speaking of, he's finally coming back. Sure, it's with another girl, but you lose some you win some.
As much as I miss him, I kinda dread his return. It's going to be much harder to hide my secrets from him. The threat isn't even from me, but from others. I doubt my friends will keep their mouths shut. I think hearing this news from someone else is way worse.
"Are you picking him up from the airport?" Audrey munches on her chips, her legs in my lap. I steal one of her chips and she lets me, offering the whole bag.
"Nope." I pop the 'p' and silently eat the chip. Harry's coming with his hotshot girlfriend, meaning he needs to go all out. He said he was either going to rent a driver or maybe a car. I secretly hope it's both.
As selfish as it seems, I don't want him to drive her anywhere. But I want the driver to be there so she can go out without clinging to him.
Yes, it's as dumb as it sounds.
"Hmm," she hums, assessing my face. I try to stay as neutral as possible. When she doesn't find any concerning emotion, she resumes her snacking. "You know, I miss the boys."
"Me too," I sit up, adjusting her legs on top of me. "It's been a while since we talked. Maybe I can convince them to visit."
Audrey scoffs, giving me a look. "Are you kidding me? You can convince those boys to do anything. I don't know why but I can tell they like you a lot."
I roll my eyes, but internally I'm doing a happy dance. Knowing when people actually like me is such an exhilarating feeling. It's like finding out that person you've been wanting to be friends with feels the same way.
"Not really, they're super busy anyway."
She raises her brow, challenging me. "Okay then. Call them right now and ask them to come."
"Audrey," I groan. "I'm not going to call them."
"Because you know they'll come?"
There's really no winning with this girl. I guess that's partly why I love her.
"No," I deny. Before I know it, she grabs my phone from the table.
"Here," she throws it back to me after typing on it. I look through my phone to see what she did.
Yup. She texted in the group chat I have with the boys, minus Harry.
Yes, that exists.
I read the message and groan.
Me: Guys I'm so so so so bored.
Me: You guys should come over.
Me: It'll be such a fun time.
Me: Besides, you can help me deal with bitchzilla when she arrives with him.
I laugh at the last text. It's definitely something I'd text. Instead of adding another message telling them to disregard everything, I let it go.
I'm kinda curious to see if they'd actually come.
What can I say, I'm a major attention whore.
