"Jeez El, are you sure all this stuff will fit in your dorm?" Audrey teases, forcefully closing the trunk. It just barely snaps shut.

"I don't wanna forget anything!" I defend. She rolls her eyes and redirects her attention to Drew.

He carries a box and rests it on top of my car. "Last box!"

"Oh gosh, there's no space!" she points out, eyeing the mountain of stuff through the tinted window. "Do you really need all this stuff?"

"Yes," I reply. I pick up the box and see what's in it. My smile falters when I see what it contains. It has all my memorabilia with Harry. Albums, photos,  even a single t-shirt of his he forgot. "There's space in the front seat."

Drew takes the box and tosses it in the front. "That's everything."

"Oh no," I groan as Audrey's eyes get wet. I pull her into a tight hug, hoping to stop her blubbering.

"I'm sorry! I'm just gonna miss you so much," she mumbles through her tears. I pat her on the back.

"I will too! You just cried every day this week. How do you still have tears?" I'm flattered, I am, but I'm worried she's seriously dehydrated.

She pulls away from me and gives me a glare before going back for another hug. "I love you so much. Call and text and don't forget about me."

"Never babe. How else will I thrive off your parent's money?"

She laughs as she pulls away. She wipes her tears and I find myself doing the same. Drew approaches me and I pull him in this time.

"Don't forget who you are, okay? You know you can always talk to me, no matter when," he whispers so only I can hear. My heart swells. How I managed to find two overwhelmingly loyal friends, I have no idea. I'm so lucky.

"I love you," I whisper back. We pull apart as my sister comes outside.

My mom had to work, so we said our goodbyes bright and early. She let Lily skip school so she can say her goodbyes to me. It's only the start of the school year, so she isn't missing much. I'll miss the little bugger, more than I'd ever admit.

"Be good for mom, okay?" I sniffle and push her hair away from her face. "Get a job if you want money."

She laughs and hugs me tight. "Live that crazy college life, okay? I want to hear stories when you come back for Thanksgiving."

"Will do," I salute. I look at the three of them and resist the urge to keep crying. Drew and Audrey have been the only constants in my life and I know I can trust them with anything. They've always been there for me and I'm gonna miss the constant support in my life. "Welp, I guess it's time."

I climb into my car and make sure I can still see past the packing.

Yes, you heard that right. My car! I took the summer to learn how to drive and I finally got my license. I figured I should have a car in college so I don't have to depend on the busses. Drew was a lifesaver and taught me. Mad respect to him for putting up with me.

I roll down my window and wave goodbye as I peel out of the driveway. I memorize the scene in front of me. Drew is lovingly holding Audrey by the waist, and she's teasing Lily.

My perfect little family.

I'm lucky to have an amazing roommate. When she hears that I have no help, she manages to help me move in and carry everything from my car. She's truly a blessing.
