'Dinner Date Pt 1'-Chapter 20

No One's Pov:

Alex, Rusty, and Pink were just about ready to leave to Pink's parent's house so they can formally meet Rusty, Pink's boyfriend, to her parent's.

The Roomies waved goodbye to Julia and went into the garage to get in the car. Rusty decided to drive while Pink sat next to him in the passenger seat and Alex behind Rusty. Alex fell asleep like always in the car with his music in his ears.

Pink glanced over at Rusty without drawing attention to herself. She leans into her bag and opens something quietly still with no notice on Rusty who was too focused on the road. Pink pulls out a CD and shoves it into the CD compartment and suddenly Kpop songs were blasting the radio playing 'Dun Dun' By Everglow. Pink was singing to the song while covering one hand with one hand making sure Rusty wouldn't change it over. But he didn't most likely because he was focusing on the street but allowed the song on this once but he was still pulling a face.

"Just this once Pink..." He said in a deep monotone. In which Pink gave a cute smile. Alex had just woken up.

"Eh... Are we there yet?" Alex groaned still tired.

"Y-Yep!" Rusty nervously answered.

"Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy..." Alex celebrated.

Rusty turned into the farmhouse drive and parked the car near the exit... Just in case anything was to go wrong... Alex got out of the car waiting for Pink and Rusty to do the same. Inside the car, Rusty was looking very nervous... like shaking... Pink looked at Rusty and held his hand.

"Rusty it's fine..."Then she realized something... Off "wait I knew you had to imitate feelings but... I never knew you could actually make your body act the same way... Rusty are you ok?" Pink questioned the trembling void.

"Err... Yeah... I'm fine and errr, of course, we can... eheh" Rusty lied. "Let's just go" Rusty stepped out the car and Pink followed. They once again walked up to the steps of the 'No Boy Zone Home' and Pink knocked.

Pink's Pov:

I knocked on the door and waited for it to open. What's up with Rusty why was he- OH WAIT I FORGOT TO ASK HIM SOMETHING! I remembered. I tugged on Rusty's arm about to ask him my very important question when a figure opened the door... My Mom. I heard a light sigh escape from Rusty's lips

"Hello Everyone! Welcome" My Mom greeted with a smile.

"Umm Alex could you head inside with my Mom quick I have to sort something out with Rusty," I ask. Rusty looked at me confused.

"Oki" Alex cheerfully agreed and walked inside with My Mom leaving the door unlocked for us.

I lead Rusty to the fence of the wheat field. I jumped myself on the fence looking towards the wheat field looking golden by the sunset.

"What's up?" Rusty questioned me.

"I was wondering- and you can say no if you want to I'm not going to force you but should we tell my parents that... you know... you're a-"

"Void?" He questioned cutting me off.

"I'm not sure..." He sighed. "Maybe we should? I dunno..."

"Well, I won't tell them, you need to tell them... Only if you're comfortable with it." I place my hand on Rusty's hand and gave him a reassuring look and a peck on the cheek.

"They'll love you no matter what, you're apart of this family now... And let me tell you there's no escaping them now" We laughed at my last comment.

"Ok, I think I know what to do" Rusty sighed then smiled. He gave me a peck on the lips which I responded to and jumped down from the fence with his hand in mine as we entered the house...
