Pink and Black

'Party pt1'- chapter 11

No One's Pov:

After the awkward encounter a few hours ago, Rusty and Pink were still embarrassed about what they ALMOST let their friend's witness... Pink just wanted to take her mind off of what happened and Rusty did too. 

*RING* *RING*. Blasts of a mobile device came from Pink's phone that was next to her on the floor as Pink was packing away a few of Kaylee's stuff her mother had packed for her for the previous night. Pink picked up the phone to see who was calling. --Mom-- The phone read. Pink was quick to pick up after reading the name, she wanted an explanation for why Kaylee was dropped off with no warning.

"Mom?" Pink questioned. why was Mom even calling in the first place... well I guess she had to pick up her youngest child Pink thought. Pink thought realizing how dumb she sounded in her own head.

"AH PINK MY DEAR! Sorry to drop off Kaylee so unannounced, I and your father had to-." Pink's Mom laughed trying to make a joke of the whole situation.

"Mom, why didn't you get Penny to look after Kaylee? She doesn't go college anymore, remember? she lives under the same roof, No? Plus let's be honest here, you and Dad definitely did not go on a date night because if you did you would find a way to somehow consume Cheesecake at a restaurant or snatch it off someone somehow, get yourself arrested for theft and you would have your... Dairy issues problem..." Pink pointed out catching her mother in her own lie.

"Wow Pink... You're actually that clever... Ahahahaha Only teasing hun, of course, you are you're my daughter after all!" Pink's mom said. Pink can just imagine her mother laughing.

"Anyway that's not why I've called I was going to tell you that yes we didn't go on a date, but it's that cousin of ours... umm err.. you know the one that lives on the family farm with us, the one that practically somehow always sober. Anyway, it's his birthday tomorrow and we just realized! And you know how small Kaylee is we didn't want her to get in the way so we dropped her off to you and Penny was helping too. There was also no time to even tell you that's why we rushed off so quickly." Pink's Mom explained. Pink gave off a sigh and rolled her eyes. 

"Pink I need you to get ready then because you're coming to the party too, no getting out of this one! Also, Kaylee's fancy dress is in her backpack... Oh did I forget to mention it's a fancy party? So yes it's a fancy dress party and I guess if you want you can bring over those... Boy's... if you must. Anywho Hunny I must run along still so much to do! Like, make my famous Cheesecake." When Pink's Mom said the last part Pink's eyes began to widen with fear. 

"The party starts at 7:00 PM! DONT BE LATE AND LOOK PRESENTABLE! Toodles dear!" Pink's Mom said with a cheery tone.

"Wait- NO- MOM DONT MAKE THE-" Pink mom hung up before Pink could finish her demand. "Cheesecake" Pink sighed knowing what she would have to put up with for most of the night... Her mothers Dairy issue...

 At that moment Rusty walked in with Kaylee at hand. "Pink you ok?" Kaylee asked in a sweet voice to her older sister sitting on the bedroom floor.

"Yeah, I'm fine! Mom said I need to drop you off at 7:00 PM and it'ssss..." Pink paused to check the time on her phone. "3:23, Better start getting ready" Pink huffed while getting up off the floor and handed the fancy dress to Kaylee. For a second Rusty and Kaylee stared at pink with one brow lifted. Rusty eminently getting why his girlfriend handed her younger sister a fancy dress and mouthed a 'No' while shaking his head in fear.

"Why do I have to wear this- Oh...- No PINKKKKK She's going to make her 'famous' Cheesecake again!" Kaylee whined in frustration.

Rusty now looking mortified at Pink knowing what dairy does to Pink's Mom, Rusty just walked out of Pink's bedroom saying "Nope! Not going!". 

Pink rolled her eyes at his response. Pink looked down at Kaylee and asked her younger sister "Could you go tell Alex please he needs to get ready and if you see Rusty ask him to come back here, ok?". Kaylee nodded dragging herself out of the room to tell Alex to get ready, but before she completely left Kaylee realized and asked

"What about Julia?" Kayle questioned. Pink responded, "Julia doesn't like parties".

"Neither do I" Kaylee pouted dragging herself once again out the door to tell Alex and Rusty what Pink wanted them to know.

Rusty came back upstairs and walked in on Pink trying to find something nice to wear. Pink noticed Rusty and smiled at him before greeting him.

"Pink please don't make us go, honestly your Mom needs to see a doctor about her issue". Rusty said a little concerned. Pink gave Rusty a 'you don't think we've done that' look.

"What was that look for?" Rusty asked in his normal monotone voice.

"Just go find something... DECENT to wear on this 'sophisticated evening'" Pink tried an impression of her mother. Rusty and Pink laughed.

"I have no way of getting out of this party which I'm assuming you were about to ask, and I'm not going alone with my strange family members who I don't even know". Pink said blankly.

"Fine I'll get changed into my fancy skin" Rusty whined 

"Thank you" Pink smiled as if sounding she was right.

Rusty walked over to Pink and reached inside her closet to find a glamouring knee-length Pastel yellow Dress. "Here you go" Rusty winked, making Pink blush while walking out of her room.

Time Skip--->

Pink, Rusty, Alex, and Kaylee arrive at Pink's parents' house. Get out of the car and walk to the small front Porch. Pink let out a big sigh before knocking. 

Pink's hands were behind her back shaking and fidgeting. Rusty noticed how nervous she was and grabbed her hand thinking she was overthinking how she looked in front of her parents and her manner. But deep down it was how Pink was going to tell her parents about Rusty... From the last time, they were here Pink kissed Rusty and to think if Rusty was a human and could die he would e dead already which was no understatement, Alex luckily only made it out with minor injuries from where he fell trying to get away from Pink's dad's Hunting Rifle.

The gang saw a figure through the glass coming towards the front door. Pink tightened her grip on Rusty's hand out of fear hoping it wasnt her Dad.

The door slowly opened up and the Roomies were welcome inside...
